It's wasn't a matter of context, if you didn't literally mean scream and holler then you should have put it in quotation marks, or said "or that kind of thing" or something.

You said AND I QUOTE: "You aren't a leader just because you scream and holler."

That's a declarative statement which I replied to directly, nothing "obtuse" about it...
Its a lot obtuse about it. Scream and holler was just the phrase for all the examples you gave of “fire” and the main takeaway was that you don’t need that. You wanted to be fixated on the words scream and holler to claim some you used a declarative statement bs. This isn’t an English class but online people all of a sudden need to speak the crystal clearest or just like Dak don’t know anything. That’s annoying but I guess my non super clear phrasing is annoying to you. Like Ive said before online bs that rarely seems to take place in offline discussions.

Don't agree, let's move on...

True, but then if somebody talks about wins then the comment is "it's a team sport", so if he hasn't won anything (though I'd have to say that division titles and a playoff game is "anything") then it's not something you can use to downgrade him as a possible "franchise quarterback" or such, since it's therefore not Dak who "wins", but the team.

Regardless, I don't care if he's not a franchise quarterback if the Cowboys can win a SB with him behind center. I know, it's at least some people's opinion that an NFL team in general or the Cowboys in particular can't win titles without the proverbial "franchise quarterback", though sometimes also some people will anoint somebody a franchise quarterback label if their team does win a SB with them at the helm.
But I don't share that opinion...

What's your point? What is this game about? Is it about winning a championship or is it about individual records, what is it about? I read on this board, just last week that Kurt Cousins is a terrible QB and not a Franchise guy and yet, he beat us and he has better numbers. What does that mean? One guys Franchise QB is another guys Bus Driver.

Calling people Troll's because they have a different opinion of this is not helpful. Not saying you did this but you see how it works right? This board didn't used to be this way. This, to me, is not a good thing.

Yes I know, seems to many here (not you) that the only point about posting here is to show they're right and to brag about it, they have no room for anybody else's opinion.

Just wish if somebody doesn't agree with somebody else, then present your argument and if you don't make the other person change their opinion, just say you don't agree and leave it at that...

Dak Employee laugh away baby but I hope we're still laughing after these....

@ Detroit 3-5-1
@ New England 8-1
vs Buffalo 6-3
@ Chicago 4-5
vs LA 5-4
@ Philly 5-4
vs Washington 1-8

:lmao: I use your Tag and you use Dak Employee and baby. :lmao2:What's next... going to challenge me to a fight at recess?

If I'm a Dak employee because I think he is a better than average QB, yet have never called him the best, or even elite... What does that make you in regards to Zeke?

As far as laughing after those games... I guess I don't let games affect me like some on this board. If the Cowboys win, great... If they lose, I'm not going to let it get me depressed and stressed out. Life is too short and full of too many great things to let football control me and determine my mood.

Watch the games and do whatever you want afterwards... That's you prerogative. I'll watch them, enjoy them, and choose not to have an aneurysm if the Cowboys lose. Additionally, I'll put the loss, or the win, on the team, not an individual. Contrary to some posters beliefs, no one player can win the game or lose the game by themselves.

PS. That schedule isn't nearly as intimidating as it was at the beginning of the season. Be nervous if you like. Myself... I won't lose a seconds sleep worrying about it.

He’s been one of the best deep pass throwers in the league this year. I can’t tell if you guys are joking or don’t watch the games. He and Gallup had a bunch of deep balls missed last season. This year that has changed. I think two games ago he missed 2 or 3 but that’s been a consistent part of his game.

I’ll take your word for it.
(I saw those misses two games ago) if you are saying that’s all he missed. Great.
It just seemsed Iike every time I look he’s missing.

No he’s missed but I mean I think in context with the rest of the league he’s more successful than just about anyone. That game two games ago was uncharacteristic of him. Now last season? He did miss.

It's an odd season in some ways. Seems every team has had stretches of several easy games in a row, when they win those they're SB bound, then after they play tougher teams and lose one or two, then it's "well they're not that good".

But like most seasons who's in the hunt at the end are the teams that have the least injuries, and who play at their peak.

I don't think the Cowboys have peaked. Moore is so green at the OC position, he's learning week by week I think, this last game he seemed to out-think himself, tried too mandy out of character things, like running Zeke two straight at the end of the game when he'd not run that well to that point, thinking "well they expect us to pass so I'll fool them!" type of thing.

Question is, can they get better? Have to to go very far....

Yeah, it's a lot more fun to post that way, for sure. Heck, you and I don't agree on everything but that doesn't mean I have any right to treat you poorly. That's just not cool.

Wilson having a comparable year to Dak not necessarily better. Lamar is dynamic and a blast to watch. But to me the 2 best QBs right now have been Wilson and Dak.
Thats cool but obviously I don’t agree.

Curious as to what you are using to separate Wilson and Lamar from Dak this season? In other words, what's your measuring stick when evaluating players?
A magic 8 ball. I shake it up real good and when I ask is this qb better than Dak those too were the ones that the magic 8 ball said definitely to. Pretty simple wouldn’t you say?

This isn’t a mature discussion though good sir. Whatever my answer is which I’ve stated over and over again will just be used as a way to try to discredit my POV. I’m not changing your mind and vice versa so it doesn’t really matter what I look at. It’s stats mixed with on field play. I’m not stat parrot that quotes whatever some stat nerd tells people when them stats usually have no context to them.

Now see. This I can respect. An honest opinion and now I know where you're coming from. I too am not a stat geek and personally laugh when folks go that route in a debate about football. Stats are for baseball.

My apologies you are different than most when the what is your criteria question comes up. I’ll take my L willingly. We also agree when people just use stat after stat with no context.
