While I have enjoyed this war of words we are disagreeing over syntax.
I know JG is intelligent and a skilled motivator. He even had my support for several years but he has failed to execute the results in the post season. So to be clear in my comment
Intelligence = Coaching ability
Sorry for the confusion.
;)
This is just something that I tend to respond to. I personally want Garrett to be replaced, and have had for a couple of years. And I agree completely that his failure to get results in the post season is a fair argument for that position. But for whatever reason fans seem to need to justify their belief with things like him clapping too much or him not caring if he wins, or him not saying exactly what they would have him say in a press conference. All of that is nonsense, and it just comes down to success and consistency, and in my mind he hasn't had enough of either.

Notice how specific BB was in his description.
I can’t help but feel like if the role was reversed and JG was asked about our offense (or any team for that matter) rather than this eloquent analysis we would have gotten this:

“Well, you know they’re a good team. They have a bunch of good players. You don’t make it to the NFL without being good. But we feel like we have the right guys playing for us. Ultimately it’s not about what they do but how WE play the game. And at the end of the day we are going to fight harder, longer, and out execute them.”

To which every fan, reporter, and I hope player is going yeah... but HOW coach!?

I thought the exact same thing. JG would not be able to go into that level of detail for his own team let alone the Pats.

Really? There are legitimate complaints about Garrett, and not being as eloquent as Belichick if asked the same question is what you come up with? The ability/desire to give an eloquent response to media questions isn't really what we care about with a head coach is it?

It shows the level of detail that Bill gets into when studying an opponent. And the consensus is that JG is more of a culture coach than an Xs and Os guy.

Man, Belichick has this stuff down. He's going to come up with the best game plan possible. I would be shocked if we're able to win this game. Maybe Garrett can out-coach him -- hahahahahaha, yeah, right.
His point is that you can't really build a successful gameplan against the Cowboys because they have balance. We've seen teams the last two weeks gameplan really, really hard to stop the run. And Dak threw for over 400 yards each game. There isn't a defensive gameplan that defeats this offense.

BB will have to guess right, which he probably will, but the game won't be won beforehand.

Asking for felloe fans: If Dak is MVP this year then we should have no problems scoring Tds against the pats?

So, Landry and Jimmy and many other great coaches didn't take a detailed look at opponents because they didn't verbally express it in front of a microphone? For that matter, how often do we see that much detail in front of the camera from Belichick? He's not particularly known for being gregarious. I wouldn't give a rat's hair if Garrett grunted every time he spoke to the media as long as he could put out a more consistent team year to year and week to week, and if he could have some playoff success. The media crap is just window dressing.

The Cowboys might actually have more talent than the Patriots.

But the gulf at HC is so wide that I don't see how it will be overcome. Belichek is going to coach circles against these clowns on the other side.

Can you imagine Belichick with this OL, these WRs, and Zeke? Sigh.

Oh please

it took him 30 minutes to figure out how to gameplan against us

Honestly, when I saw the news yesterday about Belichik giving the Pats the day off on Monday, I was thinking to myself...he probably knows it will be the easiest game planning and film study of the season, so the guys can live with one less day of film review.
