I just want the one home playoff game we would get if we win the division. That's all. Win it. Lose it. Whatever. They would almost assuredly lose it. They're certainly not beating someone like the Seahawks or the Vikings.

A home playoff game would be good for the economy of DFW. Where I live. And for the company I work for.

So yes. Get that game, boys.

At least that much.

A 2019 playoff berth for the Cowboys will be detrimental to the franchise.

Jerry will either:

Use it as a reason to keep Garrett and think we are close

Not extend Garrett but still think we are close and the roster we have is fine.


Im good. Blow this thing up and get a new coach, a top-10 pick, and an easier schedule next season

I will not be able to root for the Cowboys to lose each week, but unfortunately, unless they do, the total and complete change that is necessary for this team and organization won't happen. Whichever outcome will cause the Joneses to back out of the football operation and leave it to a competent, sane and most of all, sober professional is what I want.

I see every day people that write things like the Cowboys need a Parcells type coach but here's what's funny, not ha ha funny, that Parcells never even won a division title and had never won a playoff game while coach of the Cowboys.

The point here is be careful for what you wish for because there's no guarantees that the next coach is going to win more.

I voted complicated, as it is. I want more football, but can’t stand to stomach another JG coached football game either. The final 3 is going to be more than enough.

But Parcells changed culture, brought in talent, etc. At that time we were bottom feeders with crap at QB, low talent, etc. He got us going up again. Problem is a lot of the talent was wasted after the fact.

I will always take a shot at the playoffs. Do I think they would go far? Probably not, but it's hard in this league to make the playoffs regularly, so take your chances when you get them.

No, I want excuses removed for Booger to keep Garrett. He's looking for any he can use and try and justify that. I want them to lose out and get the best draft pick that 6-10 can get which should put them somewhere between 8-14.

The other reason is that I want Booger in as deep a hole as he can get which doesn't put him in some position of strength with a new HC, give the new guy as much power as he can get. I am tired of couching my opinion of Garrett because of the Joneses involvement with the team because I do not know the extent of that. Just when I think it's not much, they show some dopey inside the Cowboys crap.

Booger wants credit? How about credit for fixing his mistake, hiring the right guy and letting him to do his job? How about credit for being a good GM? And, yes, I realize I am asking for a lot.....for us to be like all the other fans.
