Officiating crew for the Philly / Dallas game

Hopefully officiating will not be the determining factor in this game. This season we have seen games where we were called for two phantom elusive tripping penalties in one game and an opponent has been ruled to have the ball to start both half (however ultimately overturned).

this week we get tony Corrente.

this is the ref that was calling both games where tony romo received serious injuries.

his crews like to call the offense holding and false start penalties.

cowboys have usually been on the short end of the stick in games he has called.

isn't Corrente's crew the one that called Dallas for that ridiculous penalty for the huddle infraction thing in the divisional round vs. the packers in 2016?

If i remember correctly Dallas was just starting to get on a roll offensively and then they pulled that crap and the drive stalled

This is the guy that called the "too many men in the huddle" that negated a huge play in the playoffs against the Packers.

The two I don't trust are Corrente and Walt Anderson. Both get pissed off and want to get even.

However, they like to rile up the home fans when they're getting booed, so that might work in our favor.

The refs will be the refs, its a lost battle. We have to start things the right way and state clearly and loudly "DEFER".

And the announces of the game did a quick search - the last time that penalty was called was in the 1970's.

Awwww, here it is. I called it yesterday. Before every big game there's a "we'll get screwed by the refs" thread to ease the feared trauma of losing said big game with a "predicted" built-in excuse. LOL.

I don't know about "we will get screwed by the refs" but Corrente isn't a very good official and because of that, there exists a greater possibility his crew will make a few calls that could hurt a team (and that includes the Eagles, not just us).

I didnt see much of you talking on the tripping calls that were blatant phantom calls. Then again. You couldnt argue that. but you would if you could. lol

Refs are going to screw up calls. This is known. Dallas will hopefully play well enough that the missed calls won't matter. We all know it's gonna happen. Another "phantom" new penalty will come out of it.

He also declines to call roughing the passer penalties.
But I got it on good authority that someone asked him if the Cowboys would get by unscathed this game
and he said only: "fughettaboutit"
