What is one reason why you want Jason Garrett gone?

He's not a real coach. He's just a former back up quarterback who's willing to pretend he's the coach so Jerry has someone to coach thru.

1) Inability to manage the clock. This has been a huge problem from day one.
2) Inability to adjust. If the initial game plan does not work they stick with it no matter what.
3) Plays to "not lose" rather than to win
4) The bazaar tendency to abandon what is working (example: abandoning the run when running well or vice versa)
5) He NEVER accepts blame for his mistakes. He has scapegoats galore.

I could go on but these are the main things.

Inability to produce gameday results as a result of poor scheme/Xs and Os as well as horrific game management. Most coaches in the league could return very nice results with this roster. Make no mistake, it is a strong roster and has been since at least 2014 and Garrett simply hasn't produced enough with it at all for the reasons mentioned.
He took my answer. So I’ll say actually planning for your opponents. Figuring out their weaknesses offensively and defensively and then making sure that you are prepared to take advantage of them during the game.

What is the absolute hallmark of the Jason Garrett Era?

His teams always found a way to lose.

Constantly. Consistently. They always got themselves in a position to make one more play, beat one more bad team, make one different decision, manage one final 2 minutes of the game well - and blew it. Heck this year you could make a very legitimate argument that they are not playing in the playoffs this weekend because they stubbornly held on to a kicker who couldn't make gimmes for weeks. A kicker!

Whatever it was, this team for a decade has found a way to somehow, some way, shoot itself in the foot.Usually with Garrett at the center of it.

I'm not sure that goes way with Garrett gone, but I'm pretty darn sure it doesn't if Jerry after all this decides to keep him.

I'm so tried of bringing the same game plan in week over week and daring the opposition to stop it because we believe we're more talented. Exactly as you said - study the opposition, pinpoint their weaknesses and sculpt your plan based on your already established strengths to take advantage of those weaknesses.

there’s no hope at all with Garrett. You know it on day 1 of camp right through to the last play of the season. Everything in between is rendered useless.
