it certainly is an interesting response for a coach that is supposedly beloved and highly respected by everyone in the nfl. i’ve read a lot more veiled criticism and shots at garrett than praise from his former players.

From who, TO and Dez? They both burned Bridges here and can't admit they were mainly at fault.

He wouldn't have any problem accepting it at this point in his career. The wine and cheese country club boys just didn't want him around.

Im not sure I believe Dez would be willing to come off the bench. He may have taken the job with New Orleans, but I imagine he figured he was the clear WR2 and would still be starting...

People still hate Dez for the comments he made about Garrett despite being proven correct. It’s a shame the franchises all time touchdown leader didn’t get a fair shake, yet here’s Witten, starting. Lol
Aye with Garrett gone he will get another shot.
