Tom Brady sitting at home , his one time backup in the SB attempting only 8 passes in the NFCCG. It's a team game , do your job and coaching.

He's basically been running a variation of the WC his entire career. He would be fine in it IMO. Accuracy is super important in that Offense because it's all about YAC.
there are variations of every scheme. at this point in NFL the west coast, timing and other offenses are sharing many of the same concepts. I just don't see him geling with the team, the OC, the coach in one year for us to win a superbowl. I can't recall the last time anyone did that by jumping teams. maybe in year 2, but not sure if brady plays in year 2.

So what if it's year two? I mean, we've waited going on 25 years now. There is no guarantee that if we just stick with what we got that we are winning a championship in two years with Dak either. You give yourself the best possible chance and that's all you can do.

Yep Brady is not gonna come to Dallas to be a backup

Actually, I doubt he would but I'd be willing to bet that he'd come to compete to start. If he doesn't win the job, I'd bet that he would make it really easy to get moved to a team where he could start.

This isn't click bait at all. We're signing Brady for sure, guaranteed, positively without a doubt. This is the greatest thread in CZ history.

Truth be told, I don't know that Brady would ever come to Dallas just because he's said in the past that he doesn't like the Cowboys. Still though, I'd definitely try to work out a deal with him.

Yeah, Tom Brady is a downgrade from Dak. Like Porsche is a downgrade from Dodge.

It's almost comical at this point. Put 42 yr old Brady, on THIS team, THIS year and they're 11-5 "at worst"...

Put Dak on Brady's team with that OLINE and Julian Edelman to throw to and Buffalo wins that division this year. Yep, that includes hoodie and that defense.

If McCarthy needs first hand proof of what he has in Dak then the FO should franchise him and let the chips fall as they may.

This preoccupation with age is funny. Give Brady a couple of decent wideouts other than Edelman. Brady ain't one hopping balls like Manning on his last gig. Not even.
Michel is okay, but he ain't Zeke.

I mean, really?
A 3 yr window of opportunity of Brady vice Dak...

Homerism is insane. Brees and Rodgers are older too I guess they're washed up too and wouldn't be better than Dak on this team either.

It's like, what are they watching?

yeah sure if he wants to sign for like 2years, $10million a year and then invest heavily in defense i’m ok with that.

Why would he come to compete to start when he already has a starting gig with NE where he has won multiple Super Bowls and where he is revered in the same way Michael Jordan is in Chicago?

I was mostly kidding
I expect unless they don’t offer anything reasonable he’s back in NE
I don’t think at this point he can make a bad team good
I thought them making the playoffs this year was some bellicheck magic
They need more talent for Tom to win them another SB

Brady is under contract for 1 more season for 13 mil. Now, maybe he gets released, maybe he gets extended but unless the Pats do significantly more on the Offensive side of the ball, I don't see him wanting to stay in NE. As I said earlier, there is no guarantee that Belichick will be back either.

I guess I don't understand this. All we've heard for the last two seasons is how can we let Dak get to season 4 with no contract? Well, Brady is in his last season with no contract as yet so you just never know.

A lot could happen in New England.

I agree but it wouldn't take that much. He's under contract in NE for 13 mil this season. That's nothing for that guy.

Except Brady ain’t no Porsche. If he was there would be no question in Pats bringing him back. He’s more like a Datsun.

Brady didn't have a team this past year. Yet they still went 12-4. There is no comparison between the two QBs. It's like night and day. Besides, I think he will be playing for the Pats in 2020. But if he does happen to play for the Cowboys in 2020, I think 12-4 is minimum record.
