And they are better than Hitchens.

If we would have paid Hitchens, the outcry in these forums by nearly everyone would have been melted the boards. We would have ALL said JJ's paying the wrong people, wasting needless money.

Nevertheless, I'm happy for them.

Interesting to see 2 Commanders in the Niners secondary too, 2 that the Skins gladly let walk because they simply weren't impact players for them. Coaching and the scheme matters, and of course if you have 4 solid defensive lineman, you can have an average (or a little above average) secondary and be OK.

Wow! Yall being hardheads now. He's an East Texas kid. Bet he made one more Super Bowl than you did. But if you want to only talk about Cowboys Miles Austin is on the 49er coaching staff or LB Mike Nzerocha LB for the 49ers.

Either way, the Cowboys were going to have former players win the Super Bowl.
I don't care if he is west Texas. The entire thing was congrats to former Dallas Cowboys players. 49ers lost, so therefore they weren't mentioned. If you want to act like a punk with the stupid remark that you bet he has more superbowls than me, I prefer you just not respond to anything I write again or you can just go on the ignore list.

When you leave dumb and dumber and this plastic country club organization good things usually happen.

yup....another Cowboy on that team that helped them get there. Terrell Suggs...another Super Bowl ring......I still haven't forgiven Jerry for taking Terrence Newman over Suggs.

I thought that Dallas hit a home-run when they drafted both Hitch and Wilson. They had combined 8 tackles and 1 QB hit which is around 13% of the team's defensive tackles. Not too bad. I love Hitchens story out of college and how he acclimated to the NFL. I wanted both players signed but I understand that the LBer room would have been swollen with salary which would have been hard to swallow since the Boys stay in a nickel most of the game. The Boys need to draft in another stud at LBer.

I am happy for both of them. Congrats to Hitch and congrats to Wilson.

And Claiborne

Because no one in their right mind would give Hitchens that contract. He played so well here he was able to get top linebacker money.
Do you even bother to read what you write?

That makes absolutely no sense at all, so the fact he played well here means that the Cowboys should just let him go and not bother even making him an offer?
