This thread is probably destined for the rant zone, but I'm curious what is the #1 characteristic you like about our team lately and the #1 characteristic you hate.

I love the fact the we are constantly churning the bottom of the roster during the season.

I hate that every year we seem to have those fluky games where nothing goes right and we're turning the ball over like 10 times.

What say you?

Like - We're starting to invest in the offensive line and starting to understand that winning games requires an investment in the trenches.

Loathe - Jerry Jones is a great business man but an awful head coach. And even if he's not calling the plays, his influence impacts coaching - from who he hires to the coach who capitulates to him. I think this is the one thing that has held the Cowboys back and will continue to hold the Cowboys back. Prior to the hiring of Bill Parcells, I feared Jerry had become Al Davis. Now, I feel he's headed down that path, which won't bode well for the Cowboys' future.

Love....the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders....
Loathe....Rowdy....

Love....they are finally not repeating mistakes of the past, but love that Stephen is finally taking control over Jerry....
Loathe....they still have this philosophy in the draft about taking flyers on injured players [not counting Jaylon Smith] but late rounds or they draft PS / future players.

Love: all the unemployed professional scouts and coaches on this board.

Loathe: all the unemployed professional scouts and coaches on this board.

Kind of like...I am not a professional scout / coach / GM, but I do post as one on CZ.....:lmao2:

Love when everything is clicking on offence and we totally destroy a team

Hate beating ourselves with stupid mistakes when we control all other aspects of the game.

Love - the team never seems to not give up. they play hard.

Hate - Jones boys. Neither are qualified to run an organization related to football matters.

Love : The team...it is why we call ourselves FANS and post on a Team FAN forum...even when they are down and we are angry we still love our team.

Hate: Fans who mysteriously only post negative stuff or only post after we lose. Who seem to magically remain silent when we are winning. Who claim to be realists when they are just whiners. They often complain about the homers but the whiners far outweigh the homers and it is not even close anymore.

Question: why is Stephen Jones not qualified? Seems if you were raised in the football world you would pick up some things.

I'm sure he has picked up somethings, but to me you don't learn on the job as being the top guy or the 2nd in charge. Most good GM's grow up through the ranks. He and Jerry did not do that and the results speak for themselves. This team has done nothing that comes close to getting to a Super Bowl in 20 years and counting. That is all on their watch and their decisions.

If he were not the owner's kid, do you think he would be a GM or a high ranking front office person today? I do not.

Stephen seems to be the one who has given the front office some more credibility. He holds some of Jerry's impulses in check.
