Garrett.
It is a silly premise. Washington would be 8-6 had we not beat them twice.
It is what it is!!This year, the Cowboys have just 1 win against teams with a winning record: Kansas City.
They've been able to squeak by some bad teams like Oakland and AZ, they have beaten up on some bad teams like Washington, and they have pooped the bed and gotten blown out by teams like Denver, Atlanta, Philly, and the Chargers.
They looked competitive in some of the losses, and obviously, they are a different team with Zeke. If they do get to the playoffs, do you really see them winning a game? I don't.

Seahawks blew them out they have 2
A lot of the potential playoff teams have also looked hot and cold. The Eagles season I think is basically done. The Vikings I am still not very sure about (and have also mostly beaten up on bad teams and lost to a few decent to good teams). The Panthers beat some pretty good teams but then do things like lose 17-3 to the Bears. The Saints can only really brag about beating the Panthers (and hopefully after this week the Falcons). The Rams we nearly beat earlier in the season (damn Switzer... still not over that). So yea... I don't see why our chances in the NFC are so god awful... in the AFC maybe but not in the NFC.This year, the Cowboys have just 1 win against teams with a winning record: Kansas City.

I think the eagles have 3 wins against winning record teams. Seahawks, rams, panthers.
There’s a whole lotta low end to muddled middle teams in today’s NFL
I feel like maybe there's some other team with a winning record that the Eagles beat...it's on the tip of my tongue...maybe someone else here at the COWBOYSZone can help me figure it out.Seahawks blew them out they have 2
Oh yeah usI feel like maybe there's some other team with a winning record that the Eagles beat...it's on the tip of my tongue...maybe someone else here at the COWBOYSZone can help me figure it out.
A better issue is schedule. This year the NFC East played the AFC West and NFC West. The AFC West isn't a dominant division but none of the teams are doormats and you could literally expect any one of them to win that division. NFC West has one terrible team in the 49ers.
Now go look at the NFC North. Detroit is still in the WC chase because they drew the AFC North and NFC South. They get pushovers like the Browns, Bengals, and TB.
We are fighting for a playoff spot largely because of issues like that.
Are the Cowboys not 8-6? Wouldn't that still be 3 teams?
