Teams that are Both Whole And Healthy late in the season are the most dangerous, 50/50 that might be us....

It is a silly premise. Washington would be 8-6 had we not beat them twice.

Yeah...you can only play who is on your schedule but facts are teams that beat us this season all pretty much have better records except maybe the Packers and Chargers. I have no doubts that the Packers would have a better record had they not lost Rodgers as well. You are what you are. This team without all parts and in perfect health generally CANNOT beat teams that usually have winning records. They proved that this year. The loss in Denver was also proof that the team even if PERFECT as built, is at least poorly coached.

This year, the Cowboys have just 1 win against teams with a winning record: Kansas City.

They've been able to squeak by some bad teams like Oakland and AZ, they have beaten up on some bad teams like Washington, and they have pooped the bed and gotten blown out by teams like Denver, Atlanta, Philly, and the Chargers.

They looked competitive in some of the losses, and obviously, they are a different team with Zeke. If they do get to the playoffs, do you really see them winning a game? I don't.
It is what it is!!

1 win against winning teams, 7 against non-winning teams. We don’t make the schedule. So get two more wins and we will have 3 against winning teams go By far not the one layoffs. Philly hadn’t beaten 3 winning teams I believe (just sayin)

Honestly, if we win out and make the playoffs. I would have more confidence going in now than going in last year after that bye week. Which just killed us. No one would want to play us if we get in. Trust me. Did you forget how different of a team we are with Zeke?

No surprises here. It's a JG staple. The offseason plan was horrible however. Big gamble for an Owner that isn't getting any younger.

A lot of the potential playoff teams have also looked hot and cold. The Eagles season I think is basically done. The Vikings I am still not very sure about (and have also mostly beaten up on bad teams and lost to a few decent to good teams). The Panthers beat some pretty good teams but then do things like lose 17-3 to the Bears. The Saints can only really brag about beating the Panthers (and hopefully after this week the Falcons). The Rams we nearly beat earlier in the season (damn Switzer... still not over that). So yea... I don't see why our chances in the NFC are so god awful... in the AFC maybe but not in the NFC.

Actually I do.

This year has been pretty difficult for health/suspensions.

If we have Zeke, Lee, Hitchens, Irving, and Tyron available I think we're up there.

Coincidentally, our one win against that winning team came when we weren't hurting in those important areas.

I think the eagles have 3 wins against winning record teams. Seahawks, rams, panthers.

There’s a whole lotta low end to muddled middle teams in today’s NFL
Seahawks blew them out they have 2
I feel like maybe there's some other team with a winning record that the Eagles beat...it's on the tip of my tongue...maybe someone else here at the COWBOYSZone can help me figure it out.

Without the shuffling of the oline and D I expected this record. Just wish we didn't loose so many conference games.

A better issue is schedule. This year the NFC East played the AFC West and NFC West. The AFC West isn't a dominant division but none of the teams are doormats and you could literally expect any one of them to win that division. NFC West has one terrible team in the 49ers.

Now go look at the NFC North. Detroit is still in the WC chase because they drew the AFC North and NFC South. They get pushovers like the Browns, Bengals, and TB.

We are fighting for a playoff spot largely because of issues like that.

NFC South is the best division this year. It's the only division with 3 teams with winning record.

TB is a pushover but SF isn't? LOL.
NFC South is much tougher division than the NFC West.

Wouldn' really count Dallas they way they were playing.

The Commanders are 6-8... because we swept them.

Had they swept us, they'd be 8-6.
