Now here's a list of my best guess at who is considered the #1 WR for each NFL team. I very roughly ranked them--and I know we will all have variations of the rankings (ex. rookie crabtree). These are based on 2009, not total past career.

My question is, where would you rank Roy E Willimas on this list?

1--Fitzgerald (az)
2--A Johnson (hou)
3--Cal Johnson (det)
4--R Moss (ne)
5--R Wayne (ind)
6--S Smith (car)
7--B Marshall (den)
8--G Jennings (gb)
9--T Owens (buf)
10--R White (atl)
11--M Colston (no)
12--D Bowe (kc)
13--TJ Housh
14--Ch Johnson (cin)
15--B Edwards (cle)
16--A Bryant (tb)
17--V Jackson (sd)
18--S Holmes (pit)
19--T Holt (jax)
20--S Moss (was)
21--De Jackson
22--B Berrian (min)
23--D Avery (sl)
24--D Mason (bal)
25--J Cotchery (nyj)
26--N Washington (ten)
27--M Crabtree (sf)
28--D Hixon (nyg)
29--T Ginn (mia)
30--D Hester (chi)
31--Jav Walker (oak)

I'd slot him in the 12-18 range...which is not too bad....and might be generous. We'll see!

This'll be a very telling year for him. 7 months from now he could justifiably be in either the top 10 or the bottom 10.

Agreed. Time will tell. I'd have him tentatively at 22 on this list.

It all depends if he and Romo click. While he wont have the big play like TO, he will and should make clutch catches.

You're missing Boldin on that list. I'd probably put him about 6 or 7 (Boldin that is).

As for Roy, I'd probably have him right about 15 on that list at the moment with the potential to move much higher.

Not saying that I agree with every receiver's position on that list, just that Roy probably falls around 15 right now alongside guys like Chad Johnson and Braylon Edwards.

And yes I'll take Roy over Santonio.

Lol, ok ok I'm not going to post anymore on this board until after week 1 when Roy doesn't do a damn thing. I cant wait to hear the excuses. "He's still getting to know Romo", "Its still early".

smh.

Yeah. Like I said at the beginning, everyone will have have their own version of the list. For sure 20 people would have 20 different lists...some more similar than others. I just did a rough one so we'd have somethig to go by. Some would even say Ward is still #1 in Pittsburgh, but I think Holmes takes that spot over this year.

Steve Smith is the Giants No. 1 now, not Hixon.

I'd place Roy at maybe 12 or so, like you said. Besides a few slots up/down, I pretty much agree with your list you have.

You should shake your head after typing that nonsense. It does make for a good bookmark though.

I almost put "Hixon or Smith"...they would rank at about the same spot in my view so it makes no difference to me. For all we know Hakeem Nicks will be number 1 by season's end...doubt it, but he could :)

He IS a COWBOY now - so he is #1.... for me.

With that said he is ahead of of Colston and behind Owens.
