It's a perfect storm of negative light being shined bright on Jerry Jones. I don't remember ever seeing it before. You had a terrible toxic offseason which led to a horrible regular season. This is combined with two of your division rivals playing each other for the NFC Championship with you being the only team in the conference that has hasn't played in that game this century or even since 2010. Those two teams also have ex players and ex coaches that you had in your organization the last several years.

But who knows. Maybe when Kellen came in for the interview he was told about Witten and he refused. That could have happened. He's a young coach looking to build a career. He's not looking to be a bridge to some high school coach.

So if this is what happened that means Schottenheimer will be the Head Coach specifically to fit the timeline for Jason Witten.

I'm not suggesting it's true but it is very plausible.
