Yes he can and he is. They’re reframing what happened this is done all the time. See Cooper, it was Jerry who was the one talking craziness and being upset. Now all of a sudden it’s MM? Come on, Coog. MM is widely respected around the league this isn’t a secret, but what they’re doing is trying to save face with FO. That’s all this is. I hope MM fires back once he lands the Bears job.
Unless something negative comes directly out of the Joneses' mouth, it isn't likely that McCarthy will fire back.

is this true
DC.com shows perhaps. But if you listen to Cowboys media compared to most media in NFL teams, there aren’t many more critical. And they do so right to the bosses faces. There are only a few “company guys” in Cowboys media.
Mickey, Brad, Babe, and Christie. Most all the others will be harder on the team than a lot of people here.

105.3 The Fan sucks. Been listening to sports radio since the 90s and I have them as a go to during the ticket commercials, but I cringe during most of their shows. I like Gavin but that's about it. The morning show is terrible, can't stand Shan.

Although I didn't listen to the show in question per this thread, I can tell you how it appears from reading multiple news sources...

Seems like Mike is looking WAY better than Jerry on his departure from the cowboys.

If the radio show is trying to make Mike look bad, guess it's just damage control for Jerry.

From what I've gathering from everything I've read, it seems that Mike was getting tired of Jerry and his "all in" attitude LOL

Maybe. But I dont think the niners front office is dumb enough to pay him 60 mill a year. They will get Darnold or Aaron Rodgers for a year.
I don’t think that’s dumb money for franchise quarterback. And I just said they’re going to make him the highest paid so that’s more than 60 million.
