Like how do they always seem to finish in the same place every year? I guess it just happens. BUT, I should have put this in there, WHY IS THE GAME IN CAROLINA AGAIN THIS YEAR? Three in a row is ridiculous. I know when they did division realignment, they set the rotating schedule to be so each team played each other atleast once home and once away every 7 years. And I get last year was because we played the South, but why did they make this year's game in Carolina as well. You would figure they'd say, the last 2 meetings have been on NC, how about this year's in Dallas?
I gave you the link to that question - Hos answered it pretty succinctly in another thread, whereupon I attempted to bet him we'd be seeing this exact same thread again.
I view myself as victor, though he did not accept. :
Here it is in quotes, as opposed to a link.
Each year we play an NFC Division and 2 games that are same place finishers from the other 2 divisions in the NFC.
In 2005 we played the NFC West and we had the same place finisher from the NFC North at home in Dallas, the NFC South same place finisher on the road. That meant Carolina at Carolina.
In 2006 we played the NFC South and Carolina was scheduled to host that game.
This year we play the NFC North, and have the NFC West same place finisher at Home, the NFC South same place finisher on the road.
In 2008 when we play the NFC West again the home and road same place finishers will be switched.
In 2009 when we play the Panthers and the rest of the NFC South again the game will be in Dallas.
In 2010 when we play the NFC North again the same place finishers will again be switched.
In other words, if we finish the same place as them in 2007 & 2009, the exact same thing will happen but all the games will be in Dallas.
