I wrote yesterday that it is only due to Romo that Captain Clap is a .500 coach. If it weren't for him, his record would be worse than the Poodle's.

he's not better than Brady, Montana or Aikman and all those teams were able to thrive when they were injured(suspended)
And we were lucky to win the first 2 games last year. Let's not make Romo out to be more than he is.

Those are the main reasons the Cowboys haven't won games without Romo. That and maybe the teams not that good. Take the 12-4 away, and Romo's winning about at a .500 clip(over 2011-13). And I'm starting to think that 12-4 season was a product of playing the AFC South teams for 4 games. Not to mention the Rams and a bad Chicago Bears team.
Everybody needs to slow it down on the Romo praise.

Won championships with Jordan.....one none without him. Sure they got into the post season but that's pretty dependent on a guy.

Romo is great when healthy. Division rivals, mediots and present and former players have mostly come around to giving him his due. Only on this site do we have to put up with nonsense like your post.
If how bad this team looks without Romo hasn't opened your eyes to the fact he's the main reason this team has kept its nose above water over the last decade that's on you.
In the meantime we'll praise him all we want and if you don't like it tough.

Why would you take 12-4 away? He's had 11-5 seasons, 12 win seasons, 9 wins and 13 wins.......Let's not kid ourselves now. Romo is a top 10 quarterback in this league. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to win without him.
