He is. I just think his position is low on the list of needs. A lot of other players would have to be gone or positions filled in FA for even a beast TE to make sense.

Cowboys need draft picks badly.

They should trade down from 12th spot into the 20s and get a 2nd or 3rd & 4th round picks. Use that 20s pick in the 1st round to get LB Jihaad Campbell. Or preferably trade down again from the 20s into the very end of the 1st round (30 - 32) and pick up some more Day 2 picks. Then go to school drafting 5 players in the first 4 rounds.

If Tet falls, not sure how you pass him up. Big fan of trading down in this draft, the meat of our needs really in 2nd and 3rd rounds. Grabbing an extra pick or 2 in that range would be great, ala last year adding a 3rd and snagging Bebee.

Only issue is if the Alabama linebacker has a better combine than Walker, Georgia, you might have to take him at 12. The Alabama kid is a healthy Overshown.

Normally, I would agree, but Warren could be an impact player who will improve the offense significantly, maybe as much as as any WR they can draft in this class.

If he is all that is left on the board when Dallas draft, I would not be opposed to the pick. I am hoping it is a defensive lineman though.

I understand and would not be angry over the pick because of his talent level, but we'd have to have done a whole lot in FA for that pick to make much sense.
