Also I too agree it's such a shame that Hollywood couldn't keep his life straight cause he could have easily been one of the best ever. What a shame that talent like that was wasted on being a dope.

Hollywood Henderson really was an amazing athlete and LB for the Cowboys.

The Vikings squeaked into the playoffs in 77, and beat the Rams in a mudpit at the LA Coliseum in the divisional playoffs. The Rolling Stones had performed there the week before, and the combo of the stage/seating damaging the turf along with torrential rains wrecked the field.

That Dallas team was not going to be denied that year. Top offense and defense in the league.

actually Tarkenton played one last season with the Vikings in 1978 where they finally lost to the Rams in the playoffs(before we crushed them 28-0
