Whose fault is it that he didn't play many drives? THE EAGLES dline and the NINERS oline for that matter. That's part of the game to knock the QB out of the game. You wanna play more drives don't let your QB get hit.

Like the saying goes 'Availability is the best ability'. He wasn't available because his oline couldn't protect. That's part of the game. I wouldn't expect a low level thinker like you to know this.

:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:
"DURRR PURDY WAS GETTING KNOCKED AROUND ALL GAME LONG!!"

Reality: Purdy went 4-4 before getting hurt

Crediting a team for a freak injury is hilarious though. Thanks for the laughs!

Their type of dominance will wear on that team. Their quarterback will head into injury and failure at some point as well. That's football and as regular as another season to contend with.
SF is motivated by 2 in a row losses in conference championships

Purdy was taken out last year and the system was derailed in what became a snoozer of a Gsme as their vaunted O was ineffective

I thought about this game after Sunday night.

1995 regular season, 49ers at Cowboys. Week 11.

They had beaten us in the NFCCG the year before to end our 3peat dreams.

Steve Young was out and the game was in Dallas. Should've been an easy "revenge" win for us.

Instead, their backup QB Elvis Grbac torched us and the 49ers stomped us in our house, 38-20. It was 31-7 at halftime and 38-13 before we scored in garbage time (Jason Garrett to Michael Irvin!). Total domination. Aikman did get hurt early and missed the rest of the game, but we were already down 17-0 by then and he had thrown an INT.

Jimmy Johnson was long gone. We were in year 2 with Barry Switzer and he was now 0-3 vs the 49ers. It was a disheartening loss and there was a sense that the 49ers were simply better than us, and that our time was over.

We never saw them again that year. They lost to Green Bay in the divisional round and we beat Green Bay in the NFCCG and won the Super Bowl.

Moral of the story:

The current 49ers absolutely have our number, yes. They absolutely have Dak's number, yes.

But we're not scared of Philly and Dak has played pretty well vs Philly in his career (8-3 record, put 40 points on them last year).

Besides SF, nobody in the NFC should scare you. There are other good teams but none that look unbeatable.

Stick with this thing and let's see what happens.

There's a chance someone else knocks SF out (Philly? Detroit?) and we never even need to see them, just like the 1995 Super Bowl championship team never needed to see them.
:starspin:

This deserves a lot more likes. It was an embarassing game this weekend but doesnt mean they can't rebound.

I don't care if he was 8-8. He couldn't stay in the game. Say it with me 'AVAILABILITY IS THE BEST ABILITY'.

Part of being the better team is knowing how to protect your QB. The Eagles were better because they got QB1 out of the game and their QB1 continued to play. That's the Niners problem not the Eagles. Protect your QB1 next time and you might win Niners.

You keep making excuses which is what you do in life. 'I didn't pass the test because I wasn't feeling well'. 'I missed work because my car wouldn't start'.

Oh and here's the best one special for you

'Niners lost to the Eagles because that doggone Brock Purdy got hurt'

Little Nav22's Mom: Whose fault of that?

Giants were so much better in 2020 because they injured Dak!

Clown logic.

What's great is I can tell you're embarrassed.

Cope, tiny guy.

This reads like an unhinged response to someone else's post

Are you sure you were trying to respond to me?
You guy's responses are so group directed with little interpretation on applications...you really think someone is that stupid not to apply a varrying aspect in description?

You apparently know little beyond current descriptions in the media or biased fans squawking about aspects not attached to a person just attempting to execute or create in a situation.

Know what the training table Friday night meal selection at the Air Force Academy was? It was either steak or lobster.

Today's game reflects team plays from when Jimmy and Jerry started their time with the Cowboys. That involved, during the Cowboys Dynasty time a string of San Francisco multi-win seasons for eight straight seasons as well. That was overlapping of teams and some very intense and good teams competing as now.

That set the standards to now. The negative team rub is still an intense one and still reflect competitive edges and changes in dominance.

It won't take long before Dallas becomes familiar enough and practiced enough to handle the 'smartie - fartie' stuff of THIS San Francisco team. Bank on it.
This Cowboys team is talented enough and coached well enough to not eventually lead the team to where they can handle even a this year's Eagles or 49'ers team.

Next time, instead of going all cocky and building on one's own smart butt, learn enough to recognize how facts provided can be used to address real world problems, here, in the world of the Dallas Cowboys.

Listen and figure upon what is willingly being offered for insight, and discussion, or just get some non - self directed experience beyond a preppie level and get some real depth of knowledge on YOUR butt.

Listen or not, that is your thingie...

Because I knew what it entailed. The team was on its last legs. Anyone could see that another round of free agent departures was going to finish us off. Jerry winning the Super Bowl in 1995 did a lot more harm to this organization than it helped because it proved to him that he could win it himself.

He was wrong and has been for 28 years. He won with what was left of Jimmy's team after he took a sledgehammer to it. Enjoy your Super Bowl XXX trophy from 1995.
Smart guy on leadership, huh. Who was the better General...Patton or Omar Bradley? I was on the funeral guard detail for the last American Five Star General Omar Bradley while with the 3rd ACR while he was stationed at the William Beaumont Hospital at Fort Bliss, Tx.

You present more of a bar game watch perspective here...

Comparing the current cowboys to the mid 90 cowboys is ridiculous.
.
So needy

Go dry up Beetle Bailey...or see a recruiter to learn conflict management at any point in history. History of football don't just up and walk out the door, smart guy.

I'm sorry more than two sentences a person can hide behind and just re-attack. Kind of like a Viet Cong with a small mortar at night, or just throwing at the return fire a huge block of human bodies.

It's a fact of aggressive confrontation...nice is sometimes in short supply. Your opponent still has to stand and fight. Cowboys always show up for the fight!

Myself, I root for them until change comes and then stay with the team, not a next round of beer, myself. lol

Yet they hung in there with the best teams in the league on 2 occasions. Even winning once.
Reduce the opponents' weapons and force him to reduce his own gambles, and a team gains advantage. More talented or not...

And lost to a team that has been beating a combined 72-3 the past two weeks

one of those is an outlier

We can go around and around as long as you'd like.
I got time

You missed my point. This team does not have the mental make up to beat a good team. Even if the 49ers don’t make the playoffs the Cowboys will find a way to lose against a good team.
You're probably right in that regard. Because we're used to it. It's still early. A lot can change over the course of a long season.

You're aware of the infamous "The Catch" game, right? In week 6 of the regular season that year the Cowboys lost 45-14 in San Francisco. Game wasn't even close. We got stomped by Philly in 1992 31-7. People were already crowning the Eagles and 49ers.

Other teams as well. Week 5 of the 1994 season the 49ers lost at home to the Eagles 40-8. The 49ers went to 3-2 and I thought they were done. Dallas wins 3 Super Bowls in a row.

Will this year be one of those cases? Probably not. But it sounded good, right?
