The hit by Kearse on Herbert was a total joke, Herbert was a runner and slid after Kearse already started to lay the wood on him.

No way should that have been a penalty.
He hit him up around the head as he went into his slide. That is a penalty by rule

According to Troy, it was a good call and we know Troy is never wrong.

Let's face it: The TWO 12-men-on-the-field penalties on DAL were pretty easy to call.

No player shall grasp and control, twist, turn, push, or pull the facemask of an opponent in any direction
NFL adds a clarification to make it clear that brief contact is not illegal:

“Note: If a player grasps an opponent’s facemask, he must immediately release it. If he does not immediately release it and controls his opponent, it is a foul.
Here you go watch again
Yep and my issue with that whole debacle is if you are reviewing the play anyway then you should be able to call the penalty (hands to the face) when it is so obvious that that caused the whole fiasco anyway. When a uncalled penalty result in a turnover and the turnover is being reviewed the penalty should be up for review as well!

Flagrant is ok. When the Refs become the point of topic at the water cooler, it's too much.
right it was like they were in LA looking to get a movie part.. they knew a cowboys game people would be watching they were front and center all night..like that allegedly crazy Asian fan girl who looks like was a set up..

Way to many presnap penalties. Those are the most annoying because its mental. Line up off side. Illegal motion. 12 men on filed! Had to use a timeout because we had 12 men on the field for the second time! Once we had penslty. Thats coaching.
right dan quinn should not be a head coach as he doesn't have control of his players lol isn't that the narrative for Mike McCarthy we might as well blame Dan Quinn,...literally the D the last 2 games way more penaltys than the rest of the team.

Another who doesn’t know the rules. All this complaining because you don’t know what happened
Hands to the face happened before the defender was knocked into our returner. Then yes, we (Tolbert) touched the ball first and let the Chargers recover. Very versed in what the rule is.

As the OP's picture shows it was illegal hands to the face to begin with and everything should have been negated. Nobody here cries over a game. You're not considering the clear hands to the face infraction by the Chargers prior to everything. A picture is 1000 words.

The whole play is reviewable it’s that there is no penalty there was no hands to the face. What caused the missed catch was the Dallas blocker being pushed into Turpin that’s not a penalty the hand on the face mask wasn’t blatant so no penalty the problem was the Cowboy player touching the ball first.

It was the face mask so a non issue unless I missed something. I’ll look again.

Looked close the hand is on the face mask not underneath it that’s why it’s a no call he took it off quickly if you watch the video Reality was nice enough to post. We can agree to disagree it’s one that was called correctly to me, but I’ve been known to be wrong

You are blind. He did grab the face mask and pushed it up - hands to the face. There is not an amount of time requirement to the rule. The Charger actually hit Turpin as well even if it was minimal. He interfered with the returner. There was no space to receive the punt between Turpin and the Charger.

Did anyone else find the penalties annoying? Good grief, just let them play!

I appreciate the refs but, when it's the focal point of the game it bums me out.

maybe it's just me?
As Parcells said "I don't coach penalties." But it seems that the Big Blue M&M does.
