We're bringing in Peterson to take some of the load off.If he does, next year he is toast.

Dez thinks Zeke can get 2000 yards this season. There's two questions that I have for the forum on this:
1. Will he?
2. Should he - that is, what if it requires an inordinate amount of carries?
I don't know how to add a poll, but if we could get a poll added to the thread for the "will he?" (yes/no) question that would be great.
I'd rather avoid 2,000. It's likely to mean a lot of needless carries, especially when we have Morris as the #2 RB.
Get me 1,500 yards on < 300 yard carries and I would be ecstatic and it would be well worth the pick (and I'll admit I was wrong on the pick...although we still could've gotten him by trading down 2 spots).
Keep EE rested and build a long career for him.YR
He's also saved my fantasy team. Just sayingside note
Another rookie RB, Jordan Howard, is looking good now that the Bears put him in the starting lineup.
He's on pace for 1913 yards. Leads the league in yards per game and yards per attempt.....
of course, he's only started two games.
Nice 5th round pick by the Bears
Chris Johnson had 1242 after 10 games. Then had >100 each of the last 6.(127 per game)For those that have got 2000 yards.... How many yards did they have around week 10?
Dickersons record is the one I want to see go down.. 2000 would just be the cherry on top.

At his current average of 5 ypc that would be 400 carries. I'm not fan of a RB having more than 350 and would prefer closer to 300.Dez thinks Zeke can get 2000 yards this season. There's two questions that I have for the forum on this:

I don't really put a carry count on any great running back. It is true that the shelf life of a RB is normally short bust special backs can carry it for a long time. I see Elliott as that way potentially.
I also see Elliott being relatively injury-free throughout his career. He just has that body type that doesn't lend itself to a lot of freak injuries. Very compact and put together, like a bigger Emmitt.
Our goal for him and everyone on this team right now is to play a great game Sunday....come out with a win...and have a nice relaxing bye. Predicting 2000 yards for a player that has played 5 NFL games is not necessary

I wasn't referring to fans....I thought Dez was predicting 2000 yards? As a player...my personal thoughts are you should be focused on the next practice...then the next game etc...not projecting season totals....especially for someone who has only played 5 games!Nothing about fan message boards is necessary.
