2006 = weakest Super Bowl teams ever

My god I disagree with you 1000%, and I hope you're joking. You are blinded by homerism if serious. Yeah lets face Brady, with Harrison, Wayne, Reggie Bush, and then on defense face Urlacher, Bruschi, Briggs, and Bob Sanders. I'm sorry but that is a ridiculous claim. We would not destroy a team with the 4 playoff rosters together.

Who would you start on offense over Troy, Michael, Emmitt and Jay?....

How about our Oline in the 90's?

How about Haley, Sanders, Woody, Leon, and all the other weapons we had on Defense?

Sorry if you are not old enouth to remember what we did to good teams back in the day.

Agreed. Defense wins championships, and in my opinion, that was the greatest defense ever.

the 85 Bears had the best defense of the Super Bowl era...the Ravens couldnt smash QB's anywhere near like that team did

the Ravens had a very good D, but there are several other teams I'd take ahead of them

we might not destroy them, but we'd win and probably win with ease

you wont see anymore teams like the Cowboys of the early to mid 90's, Niners of late 80's, Steelers and Cowboys of 70's

Bears vs Colts will be a Great SB!
Yeah, I certainly don't think it is as bad as everyone thinks. I concur with other posters, the Pittsburgh Steelers of last year's Superbowl are the worst ever Superbowl-winning team. It's not even close.

no matter what combination of teams ends up playing in two weeks, this will be one of (if not THE) weakest pairings of teams ever

all 4 of these teams are painfully average and have numerous holes

parity at its best

I dont get this thread?

The Colts are "The Team" for years now... and the Bears regardless of ANYTHING went 14-2... now 16-2....
