You’re in denial.
On one hand you make excuses for Romo, on the other admitting he didn’t play great. You admit that his stats were underwhelming in a round about way.
But the 4th down with no time left did occur, and Romo didn’t rise to the occasion. It was NOT a no choice interception. Romo chose where to throw the ball. Saying it was a no choice interception is like saying the rules forbade him not to throw an interception. In fact calling it a no choice interception is not defending Romo, it’s actually making the argument that the bright lights were to big for him; if he’s supposed to be the field general that makes decisions where to throw the ball.
Maybe if Romo doesn’t go to Cabo, him and Crayton are more in sync.
