You forgot the second part of that. "If it's broke, **** it."bbgun;2851932 said:The NFL's new motto: "If it ain't broke, fix it."
Agreed. I would also add that it would not surprise me in the least that I will eventually see the Super Bowl played in the month of March sometime during my lifetime.fannypack;2851903 said:You know.. I don't think that's too far fetched.
Pro football in LA would be so rotten right now, an expansion team in a recession would eat it financially and taxes are already unbarable, just wait until the city funds a 2 billion dollar stadium and then where are you going to put it? Malibu? That won't happen. Thousand Oaks? San Dimas? There's just no room anymore for big construction projects, unless you want to imminent domain South Central and bulldoze illegal aliens and low income households into the streets and likely incite rioting in the process.Chris in SoCal;2851809 said:I guess the NFL forgot about the entire West Coast.
4:30 PM start time on Thursday.
3:30 PM start time on Friday.
7 fricken AM on Saturday morning.
Okay, Roger, I've accepted this whole no effort at all to bring football to Los Angeles but come on now. I love the draft but I guess I just don't get to watch it anymore.

LA does not have the infrastructure for a pro football team, crazy as that sounds from the media capital of the world but its honestly true, the city is so transient that loyalty to local football went away with the Rams, the substitute team for most is the Dallas Cowboys or Chargers.

Goodell ruined my favorite weekend of the year.
Hey Roger.... some people have to work on Fridays you dope.
I want to watch the draft all day on a saturday at say ooooohhhh 12 PM and be able to chat with my peeps on the zone and listen to the ticket at the same time without the thought of going to bed because I have work the next day.
I can't believe this.
