2012 NBA Draft Lottery

Davis is very raw on offense. I think he'll be a Dwight Howard type. Limited on offense, but one of the best rebounders/defenders in the league. I see 21-13 as his ceiling.

Ya I feel like most of his points in college came from him being the biggest man on the floor near the rim. I don't really recall him having any good post moves or a shot.

Do you want this?

Or this?

Give me Robinson all day. He is so skilled.

Wow, just saw ESPN's mock draft... They have Robinson going 5th to the Kings and Kidd-Gilchrist going 2nd to the Bobcats. I could see Jordan going the UNC route and taking Gilchrist haha; but that I can't believe they have him 5th.

Sounds a lot like Dwight.

Not a Bobcats fan by any stretch, but I would love to see them be competitive in that market.

I was not shocked by Hornets getting the pick.

FYI for some of you guys...The guy...can't remember his name now...that owns the Saints bought the Hornets also.

Yep pretty much Dwight with a unibrow. Or Javale McGee with a brain. Take your pick.

Well tonight pretty much confirms Dwight will be traded to the Lakers. Nets don't have a top 3 pick and therefore don't have anything to entice Orlando to trade with them. Hate Howard, but I'll guess I have to learn to like him.
No it doesnt. It means nothing. Howard is the best Center in the NBA by a distance. Drew folds in playoffs.

I'm not sure how, if you're wearing tin foil on your head, you think conspiring to give the Hornets the #1 pick is good for the league.

Bynum folds elsewhere than in the playoffs. Shooting 3's this year, getting benched?

the latter. they show the machines with the balls but its so much crap, there are no more than 50 or 60 balls in those machines, yet there are teams with less than 1 percent chance of winning the lottery? how does that work? there is a ball painted half rockets red and the other half bucks green? if it was so legit, they would show the entire process on film

While it is fishy; they Hornets did won their pick on a 13.7% chance to the Bobcats 25%. Not an incredible difference.

I don't think it's so much the individual difference between the two teams.

I would say that almost twice as likely is pretty significant in and of itself.

But, the combined percentage that the three teams ahead of the Hornets had is like a 60%.

The fact that there isn't a live drawing is just stupid. Why would there not be a live drawing?

I don't know if it's rigged or not and really don't care but having an announcement based on the "honor system" completely erases any sort of legitimacy that the drawing might have.

So does Howard. There's a reason he doesn't have a championship. NJ has no assets to make a trade, he's obviously not resigning in Orlando. Lakers are the obvious choice here.

Yeah cuz averaging nearly 20/10 in his 1st year as a #2 option is folding. :laugh2:

I haven't read the entire thread to see if this was talked about.

When did they stop showing the actual lottery? Meaning actually seeing the ping pong balls selecting the teams.

You do it the way they did it last night and you're just asking for cries of being fixed. Which is all I heard on sports radio today.

That would make too much sense.
