I haven't watched a lottery in years. They used to show it.

I tune in last night and the dude's just pulling cards out to announce teams.

I guess we're just supposed to trust them.

So does Howard. There's a reason he doesn't have a championship. NJ has no assets to make a trade, he's obviously not resigning in Orlando. Lakers are the obvious choice here.

The reason Dwight doesn't have a championship is because of Stan Van Gundy's ill-advised re-insertion of Jameer Nelson into the starting lineup over Rafer Alston, who was arguably the most important reason they ripped through the East aside from Dwight Howard and Hedo Turkoglu, and a couple of last second tip-ins by the Lakers in two games they should've lost to Orlando.

Howard did take the Magic to the finals.

In a very weak East who cares? LeBron took his team to the Finals twice and people still label him a choker and rightfully so.

He'll sign the extension. Lakers will be able to convince him. If they can acquire D-Will it will guarantee Howard would sign it.

While it is fishy; they Hornets did won their pick on a 13.7% chance to the Bobcats 25%. Not an incredible difference.

I don't think it's so much the individual difference between the two teams.

I would say that almost twice as likely is pretty significant in and of itself.

But, the combined percentage that the three teams ahead of the Hornets had is like a 60%.

The fact that there isn't a live drawing is just stupid. Why would there not be a live drawing?

I don't know if it's rigged or not and really don't care but having an announcement based on the "honor system" completely erases any sort of legitimacy that the drawing might have.

Anyway, I'm glad that Brooklyn didn't get a top three pick. It doesn't guarantee anything, but it helps make this summer possibly a bit wilder.

The hat is nothing. Kids these days love wearing throwback "snap-back" adjustable hats. I see them all the time with hats that match their outfits...Seattle Supersonics, Hornets...any of the teams with neon/fluorescent throwback colors.
