2012 NBA Playoffs Thread

LeBron does the same thing so what's your point? Dude constantly gives the ball up in the clutch. At least KD takes the majority of the shots in the clutch.

They are both horrendous at getting the ball at the end.

Lebron doesn't shy away. He just sucks at making it.

KD doesn't demand it. But when he gets it he makes it. That's the diff.

KD has Sooo much talent and ability. The rock should be in his hands EVERY POSSESSION - but hes too damn soft to demand the ball. That's my ONLY beef w him.

Champions DEMAND IT DOWN THE STRETCH. KD doesn't

If Durant is horrendous at getting the ball in the end how is that he has 3 game winners (Game 1 against Dallas, Game 2 & 4 against the Lakers) along with numerous other bigs shots in the postseason?

Going to be an electric atmosphere in OKC for game 6.

I expect SA to give them a great game though.

There's no excuse for not touching the ball for over 3 mins. None.

Guess what? Tonight wasn't the only time. It happened all of last year. KD made some strides this postseason. But you guys are blind if you think he demands the ball down the stretch. He sits on the corner and doesn't move. It's embarrassing.

His team seems to be doing fine. So why does it matter if they are winning?

What is this supposed to prove? Kobe had a bad ending to the game is what? It's not like he was the only one who played poor in the final two minutes. Blake made a terrible pass that resulted in a turnover and he missed a wide open 3.

That Blake turnover was also because Kobe demanded the ball.

I'm not saying it proves a lot but it is a great example of how a star player wanting the ball every possession at the end of a game is not always the way to win.

Hating on Kevin Durant is stupid.

You want to pick someone to knock on, knock on Westbrook for almost shooting them out of the game.

KD has been working on his all-around game because he wants to be a more complete player. He has improved his point total, rebounds, assists, and defense. He also likes to get his other teammates involved and has made his share of clutch shots in the final minutes. If you want to call not demanding the ball every possession in the last 5 minutes a flaw, then go ahead. But " overrated as ****" is not a fair or accurate assessment of KD, it's almost beyond even responding to.

LOL, Lebron doesn't not get the ball at the end of games. He just doesn't keep it once he has it.

The Jazz averaged 86 pts per game against the spurs in their series and the Clippers averaged 91 pts per game.

The Thuder are averaging 105 pts per game. The Spurs aren't behind in this series because they are missing shots, they're behind because their defense sucks.

KD is overrated as ****. Dude didn't touch the ball for over 3 straight mins down the stretch. It's a major flaw in his game. He doesnt demand the rock enough.

People can and should blame some of it on Westbrook. But I've seen westy look for him constantly and KD is sitting in the corner doing nothing

He is so overrated he should get the ball more?:laugh2:

I came into the OKC/SA series hoping for OKC and thinking SA was crazy overrated because I haven't seen much of them. I still want the Thunder to win but the Spurs play great team basketball and that seems to be a rare thing in today's NBA. They are better then a lot of people wanted to give them credit for.
