How are the other players on the roster suppose to be reliable when they NEVER get to shoot the ball? LeBron and Wade are taking 50 shots a game, that doesnt leave much for others. To expect them to get into a rhythm is crazy.

Rondo is out there setting up his teammates for easy buckets and keeping them in. Boston has much better balance and they give guys lie Pietrus an opportunity to be successful.

It took Jordan a while to figure out that he couldnt just go out score other teams by himself, once he learned to pick his spots and take over when it made sense he started to dominate. Every one talks about the 63 points in the playoffs vs Boston, but who won that game? Boston!

If Heat lose I will be pissed. I will lose money. :bang2: However besides my misfortunes,if Heat lose there will be shake ups this offseason. I would not be surprised at all if Heat traded Lebron for Dwight Howard. Orlando would take Lebron or Wade like yesterday for D12.

The problem Doomsday is that they WON'T shoot the ball. The Heat do a fairly good job moving the ball around on offense, (not quite as good as SA) but far too many times in this series, open players will not shoot. They look to cycle the ball to Wade or Bron late in the shot clock to their own detriment. Chalmers will take a shot, but Battier passed up so many open opportunities to shoot last night it wan't even funny.

They don't get shots because they don't run any type of offense. If they do, please tell me what it is. They don't have a true PG or a Point Forward like the great Scottie Pippen. Lebron can do it but he has to score too.

Without looking, I'd bet Lebron is leading this team in scoring, rebounding and assists in this series. If he doesn't lead them in rebounding and assists, he's a close second.

That's what's wrong with the Heat, everybody sits around and waits for LeBron or Wade to rescue them, especially the coach.

It's why I refuse to jump on the LeBron hate train. I do see some things that I feel need improvement, but it's funny that he had no issue with any of that when he was in Cleveland (when he had the team on his back year in and year out) -- these guys, just like anyone else, need to know who shoulders the load. Wade and James are like two magnets, trying to push the positive ends together.

What performance? ;)

i see
so having 2 other all stars on the team is not enough?

so lebron will be able to win only with all 5 positions being held down by all-stars?

too funny :laugh1:

Not sure why the eye roll because I agree with that, but the point is Jordan can't make just anybody go. There is a reason why he didn't win his first championship until he was 28.

The first thing he had to do was get rid of Doug Collins (I believe that was his name)

In this series, he's only played with one all star. If Bosh is able to carry a full load in Game 6, I believe they'll win.

The excuses for LeChoke are never ending. First he supposedly didn't have enough to win in Cleveland even though he had the best team in the league record wise for two consecutive years. He flat out quit on his team in 2010 and took the easy way out to play with two superstars in Wade and Bosh. Now he still can't get it done. Dude is a proven choke artist and has no business being compared to the all time greats.

Who does this? I rarely see people making excuses for LeBron. LeBron is constantly criticized by former players and sports analysts. Outside of some kids nobody compares him to the greats.

Some of the criticism is warranted but some of it is overblown. It's reminiscence of the stupid criticism Jordan went through before he won his first title.

last night wasnt Lebrons fault. Wade dribbles the clock away then tried to be Jordan. The rest iof the team looked lazy.

Actually it was. James started 7/9 and went just 4/16 the rest of the way.

So what's everyone's thoughts on tonight's game? I'm obviously really, really excited and really, really nervous.

MC Kaos and Chocolate Lab, how are you two feeling?

I really, really wanna say OKC wins, but I have a feeling the Spurs win and force a game 7. I really hope I'm wrong though.

I almost do, too. I think the Cowboys the last couple of years have gotten to me. :laugh2:

I need to be optimistic like EnR...

Really, I do feel *pretty* good about the game -- better than I did going into the last game -- but I still only give the Thunder about a 53/47 edge.

One thing I do feel good about is I think the Thunder fully realize they have to win this game because it would be almost impossible to win in SA two games in a row. I don't think they're looking at it like they have two chances to win one.

immediately after game 5, i came on here to post some stuff, i then took it upon myself to avoid anything to do with sports because i didnt want to be reminded of the predicament my team is currently facing. i didnt even know the celtics won yesterday until i came here and saw people discussing it. i needed something to keep my mind off of it, since my wife and the kids are visiting her dad and i had off from work until tomorrow, so my sister suggested i start watching her favorite TV show, game of thrones. its a GREAT show! after the first 2 wins i felt like stark did when he found out that the lanister queen and her brother had given birth to the heir of the throne, so he felt like he had the advantage. the last three games have played out exactly like in the show, all went to hell and now my team is on the brink of elimination, maybe the last great chance to win it all. i hope they come out and play hard and hopefully win, but just in case, i saved the last 2 episodes of this season to get my mind off of things if we do lose and our dynasty is cast aside to the way side, the way the thunder have done to the other "noble" houses of the western conference so far these playoffs. they defeated the defending champions, 2 time WC winners, then the 7 time conference champions, and now they have the ax sharpened and ready for the 4 time winners, the ones they have built their future dynasty to mirror, the teacher has overtaken the student, and is almost ready to move on. i hope we have some fight left in us, but it just seems too perfect for the thunder, everything is set up, the mantles have been passed by 2 of the 3 teams that have won this conference since jordan's dynasty, they have the third on the chopping block, i just hope they miss.

your question was how i feel, the short answer is pessimistic but hopeful.

My prediction: The Thunder falter under the pressure of the situation and the desire to win in front of the home crowd and the Spurs pull it out tonight with some monumental mistakes by OKC down the stretch.
