The Mavs had 11 50 win seasons in a row up until this season.

and we have 13 STILL going in a 66 game season, with 4 titles and one of the greatest coaches and one of the greatest GMs of all time, i think we are in a better position than the mavs

Ya I'm just happy we won last year. It was amazing.

Way more amazing then any of the Spurs boring wins like over the Cavs. Mavs had a whole country rooting for them. Whole world. We defeated the empire.

lol I was rooting for the Spurs. Both teams are in good position.

But we have more years in Dirk than you do in Timmy. Don't see another lotto going the Spurs way like it did when the Admiral left.

Easily. Even though the Spurs have some aging stars they still have a bunch of young talent on their team like Leonard, Green, Neal, Spitter, etc.

Yes we did. That team was so much fun to watch all last season; and all the playoff defeat and media BS on Dirk leading up to it made it that much better.

I can't wait for Romo to win, it will be similar.

it doesnt matter how many years dirk has left, cuban did an atrocious job last offseason because he wanted to chase a miami style pipe dream this offseason. if he cant get the ONE player left the thought he could get, dirk will be surrounded by trash! a TRUE diamond among trash! and the mavs will overspend on someone if they cant get DWILL, i guarantee it!

Well pretty much our biggest loss was Tyson, and he got extremely overpaid by the Knicks. JJ Barea got way too much money as well. Cuban and Donnie did a fine job not locking us into that mess. As much as I hated to see them leave they did the right thing even if we don't land D Will. Also, if we don't we will not overpay; I can just see another year of adding some old players for one year deals.

O yea Id take Nashy and KG. And go out fighting. Or go with Dragic. I love that kid. Lots of very good Free agents and we have money.
