thats a pretty solid plan b, it would probably take less to sign those 2 than Dwill alone, so the mavs could fill out their roster nicely around them

I pretty much agree although I think signing D Will can be key since he's 27.

He got a seven day... three days left...

Hopefully he doesn't come back guns a blazin'...

He is 17 and full of angst.....he believes his views are above all others and will concede nothing to anyone who disagrees, even if they present cold hard facts and knowledge.....so yes, he will come back with guns a blazin....but, he might have little ammunition, if the Lakers are down 3-0 when he returns.

Yes especially since Dirk has 2-3 years left of prime. KG would be a perfect defensive center for him. Nash still got it a couple years. They could go for it and all retire in 3 or so.

Nash/Kidd/Roddy
CJ Miles?/Buke/resign Terry
Marion/draft
Dirk/?
KG/mahimni/Fesenko

That was my whole beef with him... he was outraged that I could root for the Spurs... I have a history of why I can root for both the Mavs and Spurs...

He wasn't around during the NBA merger with the ABA... or the NFL/AFL merger... I was... I also like the Jets and Chargers although that pales in comparison for my allegiance to the Cowboys...

Dallas didn't have an NBA team until I was almost an adult... I grew up rooting for the Spurs... I also rooted for the Celtics as I was a John Havlicek/JoJo White fan...

After living in Dallas for 8 years, during the Mavs rise, I became a fan and they were also an account of ours so I got to know many of them personally...

We'll see what happens... as I said, I had nothing to do with him being banned, but I'm not gonna let him rag on me because he doesn't get it...

As far as I know, the Spurs are the first Dallas pro basketball team, but I could be wrong.....So I can see why you are a Spurs fan....well this and you come across as quite intelligent....so it makes sense that you like the Spurs...LOL.

The Spurs moved to SA just before I was born....They were in the ABA for my first year of life, before joining the NBA.....

BTW, I love Semi-Pro because of their inclusion of the Spurs, especially as the villians at the end. My bro and I always joke that Pop should bring in Coffee Black off the bench for some alley-oop action.

When Vaughn used to play....and he was about to check in....I would always say "Pop, you're old mother hubbard, and only Vaughn's in the cupboard."

In the 80s I was a Pistons fan mainly cause of Isiah....but then as I watched them, I grew to like Dumars, Rodman, Laimbeer, and Microwave. I also liked the Hawks cause of Nique and Willis. The Spurs have always been my team, but the Pistons gave me great happiness, beating the Celtics, Bulls, and Lakers...3 teams I hated.

As far as football goes, Cowboys fan since birth. In the 80s, I also liked the Browns (Metcalf) and Seahawks (Largent). In the 90s, I liked the Chiefs (Thomas)...This past decade I have liked the Colts (Manning, Freeney) and Titans (Vince).....Now, I like the Browns again (McCoy).....But I will root for all of them to lose if it helps Dallas.....what is best for Dallas trumps everything.

I was a Cubs fan for 2 years as a kid, cause they played on WGN and I would watch them all summer. Then we got the Sports Channel and got to see the Astros. I fell in love instantly cause I remembered them from the Bad News Bears movie. So, since 85, I have been an Astros fan. I despise the Cubs...

I would say the Penguins is the only favorite team that is outside the box....but there was no hockey in Texas when I started watching hockey. I have always liked Penguins....thanks to Chilly Willy and Tennessee Tuxedo...so when the first hockey game I saw had the Penguins in it (late 80s)....I instantly became a fan and have been since...

I have been fortunate to see all of my 4 favorite teams play for a Championship, with only the Astros having an empty trophy case. Since baseball is my least favorite of the 4 sports, I am ok with that....though I wish Bagwell and Biggio could have won just 1 WS.

the lakers are getting some questionable calls in their favor...ill just leave it at that

Can you imagine if DR J played in today's NBA with the no pivot foot,no such thing as traveling and shuffling your feet before you dribble being allowed? Good God almighty would that be something to see.

Yep... today's NBA lacks in fundamentals so severely that it is hard to watch at times...

Nothing like watching him go to work in the clutch times... James Silas feeding him the ball and he was ABSOLUTE money...

It was amazing when he went into the zone...

Wow Lakers blew that game. Almost as bad as the final minutes of the Heat/Pacers game.
