Jack Arute was/is the sideline reporter that worked with Musberger's team. Musberger was prone to calling him "pardner." In fact, there was an entire drinking game centered on this dynamic.

:laugh2: thats awesome! i loved random drinking games in college, i remember in the 05 finals we had one where we took a shot every time duncan hit a free throw, he had one game where he went like 13 for 15 or something along those lines, needless to say, i dont remember much about that night!

yup, and i think it would be wise for OKC to continue to let him go off and single cover him if the game is close, wait until the fourth when everyone is cold but him to double

The Brent Musberger drinking game had so many rules and so many circumstances under which shots were taken that I don't see how you could play it without being completely hammered by the end of the first quarter.

How can you possibly hope to keep track of the rules over the last three quarters?

haha, i forget what it was called (waterfalls maybe?) but when id go visit friends who went to TAMU they always played it, same story, 20 minutes into the game no one knew what was going on, except the girls, ironically! i think they cheated

i was coming to post that kobe needs to rest at least 4 minutes this quarter, and durant hits a trey, lakers call timeout, and it looks like kobe will probably come back in. i dont like the lakers chances now

I'm not normally a person that comes in here thinking that the refs "fix" games, but this game has been atrociously officiated.

The Lakers' bench is just awful, though. And Sessions is the worst player on either starting 5. Just horrible decision-making, not what you need from your starting PG.

Kupchak blew this season something awful.
