my beef with him is that he wanted to go the easy way, by teaming up with his buddies, to a championship. i lost all respect for him then.

The Lakers are sunk and OKC is better, but no Thunder fan should EVER complain about officiating. No team in the league gets more undeserved fouls on wild, out of control chargers to the basket. Westbrook and Harden would be far less effective if they didn't get credit for being really good at making little to no contact look like a foul. James Harden is going to get at or near a max contract somwhere and it will be in large part to his ability to convincingly get away with three steps and "draw" contact regularly.
First off, you can't prove what you're saying, so it's just talk. I'm at least backing up everything I'm saying with facts. Please tell me why I'm not allowed to complain about a game in which an opponent is held to 38% shooting, yet wins because they take 42 free throws?

I don't have any problem with that whatsoever. You should always want to have the best team around you possible.

People act like Michael Jordan didn't have Scottie Pippen and a smorgasbord of "role players" who would've started on any team that the Bulls ran over in the 90s.

Timmy D is an underrated "closer" too, i bet his shooting percentage in the same situations is higher than kobe and lebron's, maybe even higher than jordan's. but then again, he is a big man, hard to compare

Spurs, getting ready to crush the Thunder in the WCF.

OK, probably not a rout, but Spurs in 6.

but jordan stayed with one team and helped build something there, he didnt go join up with drexler or ewing to try and get a title. lebron got desperate and tried to take a shortcut. i understand that you and many other people dont have a problem with what he did, but for me personally, i just cant respect anything he accomplishes as much as players like duncan, jordan, bird, etc that did it with one team, helping to build something special.

the thunder is the better team, thats a fact. only people that dont see that are lakers fans

and skip bayless, who seems to get great joy out of bashing the thunder especially russell westbrook.

Agree. The Michael Jordan analogy would have made better sense if LeBron had stayed in Cleveland and then been joined by good players from elsewhere.

Oh, I'll admit that I'm scared of the Spurs. They look unstoppable right now. But I do think that we match up to them pound for pound roster-wise. It's their coach and scheme that are so scary.

id score it...

talent: OKC
depth: spurs
experience:spurs
home court: OKC (by this i mean how much of an advantage they get at home vs the road)
coaching: spurs

should be a good one

Yeah, Bayless is an idiotic Westbrook hater. Russ could put up 50/20/10 on 80% shooting in a 20 point Thunder win in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, and he'd say that Westbrick should have passed more and the Thunder will never win another championship that way.

OKC doesn't have more talent then you guys.

Parker > Westbrick
Green > Sefolosha
Leonard < Durant (Although Leonard has given Durant fits)
Duncan > Ibaka
Diaw = Perkins

The key is really the bench. Outside of Harden OKC doesn't have much of a bench. Gino can match Harden's production and they also get contributions from other guys like Splitter, Blair, Neal, and of course Jackson.

Spurs in 5.

I respect the Spurs, but man it's gonna suck if they do win it all. All my family except for me and all my friends are Spurs fans. Gonna hear about it all summer long. I'll just have to endure it I guess.

Yep, I'd say that I agree with that. I think it's going to be a heck of a series, as these two teams have separated themselves from the pack lately. I'm nervously excited.

avery bradley OUT tonight vs the sixers! that could be huge, hurts the Cs bench taking allen out of there, and he is their best wing defender

Philly is a painful team to watch, just a bunch of guys running around jacking up shots.

Meanwhile the Celtics are just schooling them, this is like a bad game of NBA 2k.

Hopefully we don't get clowned like we did last year against Dallas, or Boston in 2008, or Phoenix in 2006. Just play hard and if we lose I can live with it. If we do get clowned please no classless cheap shots that end up getting you suspended like the Bynum/Barea incident. If the game is over by the end of the 3rd quarter just send MWP and Bynum to the locker room.
