I suppose I really don't have a strong argument for him, I just like him when I watch him, on and off the court.
Like I said, I follow from a distance because my son lives in another state and he follows the NBA, .. so that just gives us something else to talk and text about.
Guys like him do not come along very often. He is doing things that are being compared to MJ, Bird, Kobe, Magic.
I enjoy excellence, I enjoy watching the very best, ... players and teams.
I have coached for over 25 years, I know how hard competition is. It is not easy to get to, or stay atop your sport for very long. He and his team are doing quite well.
He does it all, he is a stud, he is a star.
Very seldom does anybody stop him, he either makes the shot or misses it, nobody can stop him very often.
I just appreciate what we are seeing. I think some are jealous of his ability and his success.
In interviews he is very humble, give credit to his teammates, etc.
He is marrying his high-school sweetheart this year. That is impressive
in this day and age, especially with the money and opportunities that he has. That means a lot to me.
On another note, I don't hold it against anyone that wants out of Cleveland OH. LOL!
