Dude, F*** ESPN. Every time the Boys' pick is about to come in it cuts to commercial. This has been happening for years.

That is supremely disappointing. This is the first pick that has stunned me. Isn't db one of our deepest positions? We wanted a special teams player?!?!?

Cowboys take BW Webb.

Future Nickel Back?

Good value.

We need the help.

RB and DL are still issues.

BW WEBB | William & Mary 5102|184 lbs|5SR Newport News, VA (Warwick HS) 1/7/1990 (age 23) #2

PROJECTION: 4th Round

MEASUREABLES: 5102 | 184 | 30 1-4” | 9 3-8" | 73”

COMBINE: 4.51 40-YD DASH | 1.59 10-YD | 14 REPS | 40.5” V | 11-0 BJ | 6.82 3C | 3.84 SS

STRENGTHS: Fluid athlete with the speed and foot quickness to hold up in man coverage…smooth movement and COD skills, breaking on the ball in a flash with speed in pursuit…closes with burst and with a finishing mentality…competitive in run support and won’t shy from contact…good football awareness and body position in coverage, showing a natural feel for his surroundings…reliable ballskills (11 career INTs, 30 passes defended)…experienced return man with impact potential as a PR.

WEAKNESSES: Average size and strength for the position and will get pushed around by NFL WRs…needs to improve his consistency in run support to wrap up and complete tackles…patient, but plays too hesitant at times and needs to show the same urgency on each snap…hand use and footwork are good, but far from great and need refined with some pro coaching…too easily blocked on the perimeter…lacks ideal experience against top competition with his production coming in the FCS.

SUMMARY: Despite all of his experience coming at the FCS-level, he has a strong resume, starting every game of his career (48 starts) with excellent production (11 career INTs, 30 passes defended)…lack of size and strength shows at times, but he works hard to avoid contact in both run support and against bigger WRs…has the fluidity and movement skills for the pro level, but technique needs work…best NFL fit might be inside as a nickel CB, should contribute there and as a PR as a rookie.
