Putins face when it was disallowed hahaha hang on he always looks like that

Was the disallowed goal a legitimate call?

I dont think so i really dont see what their (referees) reasons could have been for disallowing it. Think is Russia will be saying if that hadnt have been disallowed we would have won that game.

I didn't watch the game, but from what little I've read I'm sure the Russians would be correct. If the goal would have been allowed they probably would have won.

Thanks. I don't know a whole lot about hockey.

It was one of those "wow this rule is really stupid, but rules are rules" moments. I didn't even know that IHF rule until the announcers cleared it up, and even they didn't know it right away.

DOnt like how a player can go multiple times on a shootout. OTher than that, GO USA!!!

We'll be talking about Oshie's heroics for the next ten years, but I really hate the shootout. That being said, it was amazing how it played out, a USA team where the most skilled players are Kane, Kessel, Oshie etc. shouldn't stand a chance against the Russian's lineup of world class snipers: Ovechkin, Malkin, Datsyuk, Kovalchuk Radulov, Semin etc. but we did. One man took down all of that skill, and with a smile on his face. Also, we shouldn't let Quick's play get lost in the mix. I kind've wanted Miller in this one over him, but he's won my trust going forward, if Bylsma wants to roll with him.
