Kari Lehtonen has been lights out so far.......still, as a team overall, we gonna have to play alot better than this next round and beyond.....

I didn't get to watch this game, but I've got to say. If they are going to be giving up as many points as they have been to the Wild of all teams. If they end up against the Blues rather than the Blackhawks, they are going to get killed by the Blues who are every bit as defensive and they have a lot better offensive players.

They have a much better shot if the Blackhawks pull out the series against the Blues.

I'm disgusted by their crap play.

yea, we really shoulda swept the Wild, and fairly easy at that......The Wild virtually tied the game at the very end, it wasnt called a goal and replay confirmed it wasnt, but it couldnt have been any closer....we got lucky......

That was pretty bad, but the Wild weren't just going to bend over and quit.

The Stars play to their competition, so I fully expect that they bounce back here. Next round should be a battle

Really great article about the North Stars move to Dallas
The North Stars Move to Dallas
BY NORM GREEN

I was 9 when they came to Dallas, I remember getting a souvenir Stars cup from McDonald's of all places their inaugural season....Thats when I first learned about the Stars and the NHL, I was hooked from then on......I had been a Boys, Mavs and Rangers fan already of course, but didnt watch Sportscenter or read the newspaper yet, so thats how I found out about it lol....I have to admit though, if not for the back to back Stanley Cup Finals appearances, I probably would of lost interest completely in the NHL after the 2005 strike....but the allure of hopefully repeatin the excitement and ridiculous intensity of those two years is what sustains my love of the Stars....Playoff hockey is awesome enough, but win or lose, nothin even comes remotely close to an OT Stanley Cup Final game.....GO STARS!!

Oh and people need to get over the move, its been 23 years, 4 more years and we will have been in Dallas longer than the North Stars were in Minny....and at least they got another team to replace em.......but I still to this day get the "I wish the North Stars hadnt moved to Dallas" line from Hockey Die-Hards that are non-Stars fans, rather often actually.....

Just not good enough. Blues are better overall, especially defensively.

defensively and goal tending caught up with the Stars. They know what they need to do in the offseason.
