2015-16 Dallas Stars Thread

7th overall in the league. (GAA) All those naysayers claiming the Stars are going to fold because of defense and goaltending can shut the bleep up.

I love how people who haven't even watched the Stars play were downplaying them so much. How can you nitpick when you haven't even watched the team actually play.
I've watched like 10 of their games....They've played better defense recently, but their GAA is inflated by playing against terrible offensive teams. In 21 games, they've played:

PITT (2) - 2.20 gf/pg, 25th
PHI - 1.70, 30th
TOR (2) - 2.19, 26th
BUF (2) - 2.10, 27th
CAR - 2.00, 28th
DET - 2.33, 24th
ANA - 1.76, 29th
TBL - 2.41, 21st

When over half your schedule is against teams who can't score goals, you damn sure better have a strong GAA. In the rest of their games against better scoring teams, their GAA is 3.2.

I know you have no interest in an actual discussion about the Stars, but there it is.

I missed last night's game. Looks like it was a good thing. I'm not even sure I want to read the recap of that game. :/

They **** the bed. :(

The Stars were on national TV last night, but I only have the most basic cable so I didn't get to watch it. Not to mention I've been sick as a dog.

They won and that's all that matters, but from what I read. They were crappy again handling an aggressive forecheck. That seems to give them problems. They had better really start working on that if that is going to be the key to giving them fits.

Anyhow, they won in a shootout. I will have to watch last nights game today on Center Ice since I couldn't watch it last night.

Go Stars.

Get well! How awful to be sick on a holiday!

I knew we were gonna be better this year, but WOW!!........I cant wait for some meaningful playoff hockey yet again, I'll never forget how intense and fun it was back in 99 and 00...

That was a great playoff season, top to bottom, even though my Rangers didn't even make it lol

Dallas vs Colorado was the most entertaining series I ever remember watching, and then it was pretty nuts where I live with the Sabres in the final

Nods, I watched the last bit of the game last night. I've been having trouble making time to watch the games. Though, I do love the condensed games in NHL Center Ice. When I don't have time to watch it live, that is the next best thing. :) I will have to watch last nights game that way since I only saw the last goal. I came right after Seguin scored his two goals in something like 30 seconds.

Just something about this team, and I like it. I only saw the score on the bottom line of
Fox News this morning.

They didn't actually play that great of a game last night. The difference was when Dallas got a chance, they potted the goal and the Blue Jackets didn't. It didn't hurt that the Jackets had a rookie goalie in net too.

I'll take it. No apologies.
