Twitter: 2016 Draft Derek Henry & Zeke

Yeah- but for Zeke- his carries were over a year and a half- Henry carries were over three years... a year can make a difference.
What part of last year confused you?

Inside the 5:

Henry 13 of 17
Zeke 3 of 11

Imagine using them against the man when they are not substantiated. Seems far worse to me. Presumptive innocence is the hallmark of our legal system.
The NFL is not our legal system.

Fact of the matter is...is that Jalen has never been suspended or had to meet repeatedly with the NFL commissioner to avoid additional suspensions.

So calling Jalen a character risk in defense of Zeke is an absolute joke.

This thread is pointless. We just signed Zeke and he will be around for at least 4 more years no matter what Henry or Jalen do.

Passing to the halfback is the least efficient pass play in football.

Having said that:

Zeke ranked 24th among tailbacks in yards per route run as a rookie, didn't qualify his 2nd year and ranked 18th last year. Zeke isn't exactly Marshall Faulk out the backfield.
Yep. Passing more efficient than running. Passing to a wr more efficient than passing to a rb.

I was kind of thinking we could pick up Jalen Ramsey with the 4th pick and then pick up Henry later in the draft in 2016.

I wasn't talking about the NFL. I was referring to your opinion.

Antonio Brown has not been suspended either. What is your point? You act like punishment is cut and dry and black and white. Or that it is the be all end all. Zeke has never even been arrested once. Our QB has. Again, it isn't black and white.

Wow, didn't realize Derrick Henry is this good.

Thats because he sucks for games at a time, then blows up a few times a year. Its not entirely his fault though. They play Dion Lewis a lot. It looks like that is changing.

The NFL literally put out a statement last night that suggested if signed he would be put on commissioner's exempt list.

Antonio was also literally fired twice in 2 weeks.

Saying Jalen is a character risk in defense of Zeke is an absolute joke. Reeks of he's our guy so I'll defend him no matter what.

For the first two years Henry didn't do crap. D Murray was there.

Hilarious. For the past 3 years there’s been thread after thread about how great Zeke is, many times by the same OP’s and most people got lock jaw and callouses just reading the threads. A lot of those threads were also based on how great he was because of his total yards with no mention of the O line or the fact that he had more carries than any other RB.

Now we have an OP that is critical of Zeke and people call him “obsessed”. I never remember reading that about the other OP’s mentioned above. The OP has also presented many more critical facts that should open some of your eyes (other than total yards) and now he is criticized and those facts aren’t enough, yet total yards somehow as the definitive answer as to why he was the best.

Zeke is good but he’s not worth what Jerry paid him, no RB is.

Henry- 42 catches, 459yd, 2 TD
Elliott- 138 catches, 1,218yd, 6 TD
Zeke essentially triples Henry’s receiving game production across the board.

It’s also important to note that 38.5% (408yd) of Henry’s rushing yds last season came in 2 games

Is 500 carries too small a sample size?

Zeke does a lot more than just rush the ball, he is a threat as a receiver as well. Here are the receiving numbers.

Derek Henry for his career...…………...43 receptions for just over 450 yards
Zeke for his career...……………………138 receptions for over 1200 yards

Teams dont have to worry about Henry out of the backfield, he either rushes or blocks, that's it.

Now is the time to remember Zeke made 25MM to Henry's 5MM on their rookie contracts and that's before we talk about the 90MM extension Zeke just signed.

Dude, nobody in the entire league thinks Derek Henry is even in the same zip code as Zeke as a RB.

And how is Henry's team doing, 1-2 and just got blown out by the sorry arse Jags...…..yeah, Henry really is making a difference for them:laugh:
