The slate is set.

Cleveland is no shoe in versus Detroit in the first round. Detroit owns the regular season series 2-1.

Who ya got?

best first round matchups are in the east imo....

cavs v pistons
tor v indy
celts v hawks
heat v hornets

I hope utah makes it over the rockets... but thats a longshot at this point...
both play dogs tonight, and hou has the better conference record...

I think the champs come from out west... I'm going to say SA v Cavs.... SA in 6 because that was my early season pick,
but GS is on a mission... so I could be very wrong...

I'm saying Spurs, because I'm a homer, but Golden State looks unbeatable. Honestly, I don't think it really matters who comes out of the East. But, Cavs probably with Toronto as my second pick.

Spurs needs to score at least 100 points a game to beat the Warriors in a 7 game series imo.

For that to happen, they would need a Jason Terry like performance from 2011 from one of their perimeter players. LA and Duncan are going to get their 15+ points @ least but they need that one perimeter player that will put the pressure on Curry and Thompson on offense.

The last game they played, LA, & KL looked pretty tough, and Duncan & Diaw didn't play.
I really hope we get GS vs SA... I have high hopes for that series.. Coaching, pace, & defense.

I don't think scoring 100 is a problem for San Antonio. It's keeping the Warriors under 130. The Spurs have a chance IF they can control the pace more than GSW controls it -- which isn't easy. Diaw is a HUGE part in that series. Duncan may not get more than 15 minutes a game. They don't have anyone to guard Curry. Nobody does. You can't push him out to 30 feet, because he shoots 48% from there (the rest of the NBA shoots 7%, for comparison). You can't force him to drive, because he can finish or find someone with the best of them. Honestly, I think the best hope the Spurs, or anyone has, is to do the best you can to limit Klay and Draymond, and pray that Curry doesn't go for 70.

But despite all that, SA needs to knock down their shots. Huge guys in the past were Green and Mills, and both of them are ice cold this season.

Regardless, you have to get there first, and OKC and the Clippers are going to try their damndest to play spoiler.

Still seems the same as when the season started. It'll be the warrior's or spurs against the cavs in the finals.

Barring a catastrophic injury, I think Golden State rolls to a second championship with ease.

The rockets look demoralized. They are getting absolutely destroyed.

Watching the rockets run their offense is frustrating.. Isolation all day.

I'm so happy they look like a flaming pile of cow manure. I hate that team with a passion. As much as I despise Morey, I hope he keeps his job, as I am enjoying the inept display that the Rockets have given us over the last several years.
