Spurs needs to score at least 100 points a game to beat the Warriors in a 7 game series imo.
For that to happen, they would need a Jason Terry like performance from 2011 from one of their perimeter players. LA and Duncan are going to get their 15+ points @ least but they need that one perimeter player that will put the pressure on Curry and Thompson on offense.
I don't think scoring 100 is a problem for San Antonio. It's keeping the Warriors under 130. The Spurs have a chance IF they can control the pace more than GSW controls it -- which isn't easy. Diaw is a HUGE part in that series. Duncan may not get more than 15 minutes a game. They don't have anyone to guard Curry. Nobody does. You can't push him out to 30 feet, because he shoots 48% from there (the rest of the NBA shoots 7%, for comparison). You can't force him to drive, because he can finish or find someone with the best of them. Honestly, I think the best hope the Spurs, or anyone has, is to do the best you can to limit Klay and Draymond, and pray that Curry doesn't go for 70.
But despite all that, SA needs to knock down their shots. Huge guys in the past were Green and Mills, and both of them are ice cold this season.
Regardless, you have to get there first, and OKC and the Clippers are going to try their damndest to play spoiler.
