Ridiculous....his cap number is a quarter of the number they are posting. Every rookie should be on this list.

What do they mean EE is making more than any other RB in 2016? Because of the signing bonus? What idiotic logic.

And they are showing Crawford as being paid 6.75m, while even with pro rated SB his actual cap number is 4.35m. Garbage story.

Precisely. It is idiotic to include rookies. They don't control the system.

They didn't make a team overpay them. I guess teams should not draft the best players but decide to draft by whatever construct PFF determines is "worth it".

It's hard to be overpaid in June before a single snap of football has been played, Let alone a season, to put a rookie there is even more ridiculous. But... What else should we expect.

I don't think it is PFF putting this out....isn't it 247 Sports? They are just using some PFF info.

Their criteria is ***. Anyone that has signed a new contract is going to count for a ridiculous number since they will be adding their SB in full to their salary.

Vernon got 20m SB, has 1.75m salary, 250k workout bonus and 7m roster bonus. That is 29m he is being paid this year for 7.5 sacks. I think they missed one.

Based on their logic the 3 guys taken before him would be even more over paid. I'm sorry I wasted 30 seconds of my life reading such trash.

Including signing bonus as pay this year is beyond ridiculous. And why does Zeke get called out but not any other rookies, especially the three who make more than him? Seems like the Cowboys are still on the media's most clicked list.

I could be wrong but actual pay for the year and their cap # can be very different.

I went thru them all, and didnt see anything wrong with what they say .

"
RB2 - Ezekiel Elliott - $16,800,066
Look, Elliott may end up being a massive star in the NFL, but as of now he's making more in 2016 than any other NFL RB--that includes Adrian Peterson, the NFL's rushing leader. Elliott has yet to take an NFL carry, and yet he's pulling home almost $17M. For now, he's overpaid."

It could be that EE is getting more cash this year than the others drafted above him, and next year they
will make more than him.
I think all they are really saying here, is like some other rookies, he is paid a lot.
But the same is true for all rookies drafted high, and none have proved they are worth it.
I think they wanted to include EE as he is well known ,and went to cowboys.
And he is highest paid RB, that is why , highest for his position.
Like wentz isnt no where near what Tony Flacco and other qb make.

I agree on joe flacco and some others,

PFF Is an absolute waste of webspace

lol, what does PFF have to do with a list 247 Sports put together? They put Elliot on the list because of some nonsense about his cap number.

And are we really going to argue that Crawford has lived up to his contract so far?
