Well ya, MJ lost to the Celtics, Pistons, etc.
Again, the comment I originally replied to was implying the rockets would have never won a championship had MJ played.

But MJ was playing a year the rockets won. Thus, the idea the bulls would have won the championship instead of the rockets that year isnt even possible.

Just my opinion but there is no good reason there should be a scheduled break longer than 72 hrs between game 1 and 2 of the NBA Finals. It's too long. The move to a new location between game 2 and 3, okay that's understandable to have the longer break.

If you're a basketball fan, this is an epic Finals. You've got four (LeBron, Durant, Curry and Kyrie) of the top 5-6 players in the game + Klay Thompson who arguably a Top 20 player all playing one series against each other.

Between Curry, LeBron and Durant, you have the winners of the past five NBA MVP awards.

Absolutely, Cal. I'm not a Cavs fan, nor a GS fan (Lake, here), I just want a thrilling series. Some nail biters and a full 7 games.

Not a Cavs fan either but you got to root for someone. I'm actually a Kevin Durant fan since his days in college.

Love Durant, too. And don't care that he went to the Warriors, like so many do. A 7 footer that shots like he does, what's not to love!? :)

But I don't want GS to become a dynasty (full disclosure: Lakers fan :)).

Kerr back on the bench tonight. Good for him. Migraines are no joke.

Did they say migraines? I know his health issues stem from spinal fluid leakage due to a botch back surgery. Maybe the end result is debilitating migraines.

Kerr back on the bench is good news, though a one eyed monkey could coach this team to a chip the way they are constructed now. On the serious tip, Kerr brings that level of making better decisions if the game is close compared to Brown, but in Brown's defense, he hasn't been put in that position yet to see how he would respond. It's a fun time to be a Dubs fan after being the NBA doormat for decades.

Yup, it's the migraines that are keeping him from the court lately. I imagine the migraines are directly tied to the surgery, Cal. Just horrible, Kerr is an outstanding coach and person -- incredibly humble (off the court) from all I've heard.

Gonna be nice to see him on the bench with his team.

I want both teams (and their coach's) all-in in this series :)

Kerr is also the coach in the player's eyes. They're gonna get a boost by having their leader back (not that they needed it :))

MJ is the GOAT. Then Kareem, then LeBron. Kobe is somewhere around 6-8 all-time (and my personal favorite).

I hate the Cavaliers and Dan Gilbert, but I think - as objectively as I can - that LeBron James is the best basketball player of all time. Again - objectively. You've got to look at it from a pure basketball standpoint and not number of titles, etc.
