The Golden State Warriors had to wait a bit to find out who their opponent would be in the 2017 Western Conference Finals, but the San Antonio Spurs finally emerged after a six-game battle with the Houston Rockets. Golden State is well-rested going into this one, having swept series against both the Portland Trail Blazers and Utah Jazz ahead of this matchup. The Spurs dropped a pair of game against the Memphis Grizzlies and Rockets, but this showdown between the top two seeds in the West was never truly in doubt.

I love the Spurs, but short of injuries, the Warriors will take the series in 5 or 6 games.

Just too much talent to deal with

The best I can see the Spurs doing at this point with Kawhi hobbled and Parker out, is stretching the series to a game 6. It's been a great season for the Spurs, IMO but the Warriors are too healthy and rested for the Spurs to advance any further.

Spurs in 6......my silver and black blood will not allow me to pick against them. I say 6, cause if it goes 7, no way we win that game at Oracle. I believe we can win at Oracle, most likely game 1......but not a game 7.

The 2 players that worry me the most are Iggy and Clark. I expect the big 4 to do damage. But, we need to limit those other 2. If we can keep Iggy and Clark in check, I really like our chances.

Go Spurs Go

End of the 1st qtr. Spurs on top 30-16. Great start for the Spurs. You can tell the Warriors are a little off balance right now but I have no doubt they will rally like the championship caliber team they are.

Game 1 End of 3rd qtr. Spurs still on top 90-81 but with Kawhi out for the rest of the game, the Warriors have a chance.

Zaza is scum. Better go straight from hotel to the AT&T Center in S.A.

GS squeaks by to win game 1 on their home court 111-113. With Kawhi out of the game, GS got lucky.
