people whining about switzer.

punt returns are a huge part of the game. think about all the gadget plays they can run with this kid. A better version of whitehead running the jet sweep.

Before it's all over he'll be a lot more than a punt returner. He just gave Lucky his walking papers. Imagine running the jet sweep with the added dimension that you might actually throw the ball to Switzer, who runs good routes already. I love this pick.

I disagree. Punt returns are still a huge moment in games. If you have a dynamic guy that turn a routine punt that should end up at the 23 and put the ball at the 38 its huge.

Kickoffs are dead but punt returns can win you a game.

hard to be dynamic when you're forced to fair catch it, the punters in this league are just that good now, it's all about NET yards for punters and the kicking game

I don't think we should expect Switzer to step into Butler's role in the offense. He's clearly a replacement for all things Lucky Whitehead, which means he'll get a few snaps on offense and return kicks.
Another rookie should take Butler spot

Would anyone be mad if Dallas traded its 6th and both 7s to get D King?

I agree. Field position is, and has always been, huge. Can you imagine this offense starting with an average better FP all the time?.....

I know some people don't care about numbers, but here are the numbers I'd like to see our rookies have:

Taco: 97 (I'd prefer 56, but 97 is in stone)
Cheeto: 25
Lewis: 26
Switzer: 18
Pass rusher: 56
Safety: 29
