2018 Cap

If Martin wants $11M as a guard, you give him $11M. It's not too often that you draft rookie offensive linemen, and build an offensive line that is so integral to the success of your team, and that rookie is an All-Pro and then turns into a dominant force of the best unit in the league.
we spend a decade to find someone and when we do people then want to:

1) trade them for something and start over again
2) not pay them and let them go, start over again

We better keep this line together it is only chance our next QB and RB stand

I just don't want to be in the situation that Denver was in with Osweiler (A good but not really proven QB that demands a huge contract).

Yeah Im with you. But I think we will have enough time with Dak to know what we have. Also I dont think Denver was enamored with Brock Osweiler. Manning was really bad last year and the fact they put him back in over Osweiler lead me to believe they werent happy with Osweiler.

They put Manning back in to win a superbowl as the QB. Let him get fresh for their playoff run. Brock outplayed him

If Dak indeed works out then prepare for the expectations to get worse.

These next two drafts are going to be very defensive heavy I presume. We seem set for a while at virtually every position on offense other than RT.
