Watching the highlights of the UDFA it really drives home the point how hard it is to get drafted and then make and NFL roster. All of this for in all likelihood will be a 1,2, or 3 year NFL career. Next year there will be a whole new boatload of prospects coming through.

Yes, every year I comment that watching college games of UDFAs and looking at their measurables, it really shows just how difficult it is to make it in the NFL. Many UDFAs were terrific college players and many have super athletic ability relative to 99% of the population.

I've seen parents at Kid's football games talking about some kid going to the NFL eventually because of his athletic ability. The vast majority of those kids won't even have Jeff Heath athletic ability when they're out of college.
