2019 College Football Thread

A Georgia win is the only thing standing in OU's way now.

I'm sure the SEC would love a narrow UGa win over a not-as-urgent LSU.
Odd situation for the Tigers, as they probably make it, win or lose.

Here's a question:
What if Ohio State loses a very close one to Wisconsin?
The committee could easily argue that a 12-1 Ohio St is still much better than a 12-1 Oklahoma.
Can't see the Badgers winning, but its food for thought.

The concensus is that LSU, Clemson, and OSU are already in even with losses today. OU needs a UGA loss. 2 loss teams don't make the playoff.

I feel a little bad for Memphis.
They just bwT Cincy last week by 10, but now play them again for the AAC title.

Burrow is elite. Better QB prospect than any of the first QBs taken in recent years (Murray, Mayfield, Trubisky, Goff)

How the hell did burrow not beat out Dwayne haskins. Burrow is a damn good qb.

Congrats to Memphis.
Probably made a New Years 6 Bowl

But now they'll lose their coach to Florida State.

Nice drive by #23 Virginia
Thought it was fluke that they beat Va Tech last week. Neither are great (barely top 25) but they aren't rolling over early on at least.
Would be nice ifthey could stay in this a little while

Mike Norvell (Memphis) going to be HC at Florida State.

I bet they start getting good again really soon.

Meanwhile
That beast RB from Wisconsin just busted a long score to take an early lead on Ohio St

I already thought LSU would leap Ohio State, to get the top seed, and avoid Clemson in the semis.

But after they smoked Georgia and with Wisconsin taking a 14-0 lead on Ohio St.....I feel sure of it.

Ohio St may win, but they're gonna be a 2 seed anyway

Omg Wisconsin!! That this game doesn't mean anything is why we need to expand the playoffs

Seeding prediction

  1. LSU
  2. Ohio State
  3. Clemson
  4. Oklahoma
Doesnt mean I think thats the order of who is best, but could see the seedings that way and not complain about it.

Recency bias...bring it on.

Why Gawja was even #4 deserves questioning, but S-E-C! S-E-C! They lost to freakin' South Carolina, at home.

What other team was better than them?

Honestly doesn’t matter who is 3 or 4. LSU is likely to dominate the next two
Top 3 are pretty equal, imo.
4...not so much, but theyll have 3 weeks to stew on disrespect.

But if Clemson is 3....well, they can beat anyone

Looks like it’s

LSU vs Oklahoma
Ohio State vs Clemson

Which is best case ratings wise. Going to be a fun few weeks in my household. I’m a die hard Clemson fan and my wife’s entire family are born and raised in Ohio and all Ohio state alumni’s lol
