I couldn't find a generic 2020 NCAA Football thread, so here it is.

We know it's going to weird this year with Big 10 an Pac 12 bailing, but still, plenty of football to played.

Saturday 9/12/20

Many of this week's games will be blowouts but here are a few games of interest to various fan bases.

#18 North Carolina vs Syracuse

#1 Clemson vs Wake Forest

@14 Texas vs UTEP

#5 Oklahoma vs Missouri St

#10 Notre Dame vs Duke

#23 Iowa St vs Louisiana
 
The Big XII showing early that they will be a bad conference once again.

Those were bad losses by Iowa St and Kansas St today. ISU was ranked and KSU is usually a decent team. Not a good showing and the conference has been bad for several years now.

Oklahoma up by 41 at the half and Texas up by 21 in the 1st qtr. Iowa St and Kansas St? They’ve been the butt of big 12 jokes for years.
 
No, KSU has not been the butt of big 12 jokes for years. They are usually a decent team, but had a very poor showing today. ISU has been the deserving butt of big 12 jokes for many years. They had finally started to produce winning seasons and were ranked going into their terrible loss at home today.

Everyone expected OU and UT to win and win big against lesser programs today. I don't judge the conference just based on those 2 programs. There are 10 other teams and today 2 of them had very bad showings.

Your entitled to your opinion. I think its a strong conference. Certainly not as strong as SEC, but they’re up there. I think they’re on the way up as well with TCU, Baylor and UT all improving.
 
So yes...mostly blowouts, but 1 upset

#18 North Carolina vs Syracuse.....UNC won by 25. Syracuse is not so good

#1 Clemson vs Wake Forest....Clemson smoking WF by 34-3 in 3rd...WF is not terrible but not great either. Lawrence has 351 yards in mid 3rd qtr...

#14 Texas vs UTEP....Texas stomping a putrid UTEP...UTEP was 1-11 last year,

#5 Oklahoma vs Missouri St....OU mauling a truly awful Missouri St......MSU was 1-10 last year

#10 Notre Dame vs Duke....ND won 27-13

#23 Iowa St vs Louisiana......UPSET. Louisiana beat Iowa St going away 31-14. UL is usually pretty good (11-3 last year) but wow
 
Kind of an upset

Ga Tech beat Florida St 16-13. But FSU has been down lately
 
Texas Tech lead Houston Baptist 21-10 at the half.

K State gets beat by Arkansas State

and

Kansas is getting owned by...wait for it...Coast Carolina, 21-0
