By all accounts, his leadership changed the entire dynamic of that locker room.
Even all the defensive stars said so. They said the mindset was just different with him there.

Plus, he had an outstanding year on the field as well.

• 4633 yards passing...which by itself is good but not that meaningful

more importantly

• a whopping 28 more TDs than turnovers (that would've been a team record for most teams...including Dallas)
• a 102.2 passer rating on top of the high numbers...which is unusual

Like recruitment, locker room dynamics are not something I think they give MVP awards for . I'm sure that bringing on Tom, and all those who came on because of Tom, also had a big effect on the team's sense that "we can really win it this year". Maybe they should give MVPs for it. Does anyone doubt that Tampa doesn't win w/o Tom?
