2022-23 Bowl Games Thread

Are they reviewing spearing/targeting?

I think thats a crap rule that college games can be reviewed to see if a penalty can be called (or not). Absolutely ruins the game.

Anyway, so glad TCU held on. It has to be the biggest upset of the entire season, if not the biggest in many, many years...

This is why you have to give the little schools a chance when they earn it. Huge win for Fort Worth and for Texas.

Last play was chaos...should have been targeting but what's the rule for advancing the ball on a fumble there? I think only the fumbling player can pick it up and advance it

Wow what a win by TCU.

I can’t believe they mostly won it by taking away what Mich does best.

Anybody watching the Peach Bowl? Buckeyes just drew 1st blood. Ohio State 7-0

It really did meet the requirements of targeting, but I am guessing since the other tackler spun the ball carrier into it and it had no bearing on the tackle as the Michigan player was about to be down anyway they let it go.

I can see why Michigan fans would be upset but really, the play was over the moment the center snapped it before the quarterback was ready.
I think they got shorted on the pass for td at the goal line.

I'm definitely not a Buckeye fan, but it looks like they're stealing the Bulldog's bone.
