Mavs have now lost twice to Phoenix , early in the season . Hope this is not a trend .

And the 76ers who nearly took out the Knicks in the playoffs are sitting at 1-7 . Ouch .

This is beyond embarrassing. Luka really needs to be suspended for a game for flopping like this.

No one wants to watch the NBA if it becomes like soccer.

Tough break for Thunder with the Chet injury. Although he should be back this year.

Warriors definitely looking like they could be a power in the West this year. Not a team you want to see in the playoffs

I wish the Spurs would be more involved in the Giannis trade rumors. Trade Sochan and Keldon plus some draft picks (which they have plenty) and stack your roster with Wemby, Giannis, Castle, CP3 and Vassel. Instant Playoff contender. They sure are keeping a tight lid on what happened to Pop. My guess would be stroke?

Giannis is too easy to beat in the playoffs. Im crunch he can become a major liability with his FT shooting

Dubs looking good early this season. Buddy Hield has basically taken the place of Klay and provided and provided a bit more consistency offensively. Melton has also played well and actually taken minutes from B. Podz and giving the team an actual PG when Curry is off the floor.

Having two “big” guys in Looney and Trace Jackson-Davis really helps this team. Our depth is as good as it’s been in years.

I could see a 2022 rematch

That’s tough. We’re still vulnerable without a legit #2 scorer IMO. Wiggins and Kuminga don’t really fit that bill.
I think you could get enough collectively out of them to be a viable contender. Especially if Wiggins can turn in a similar performance. Steph Curry is still the most terrifying thing you can face in the playoffs.

Spurs can’t get Freak without giving up Wemby. There is not a trade package they have. Maybe 6 first rounders? Something foolish.4

I can’t stand Popovich politicization of a press Conf. I could care less what you think outside the realm of the NBA . You’re not as bright as you think. Do a Bill Maher show . There you expect “double drivel “ .
Him and Steve Kerr are great. I really gained a lot of respect for them.

Funny thing is they are really soft since getting rid of him. Gobert is the issue but can’t get rid of him.
The thing with them is they built themselves to beat one team. Then they played that team in the 2nd round lol. As a Mavs fan, you know what happened next

I love Giannis. Here is my thing though. He is a non shooter approaching 30. Can you guarantee me his game ages well?

As it is right now, he presents a real challenge for whoever has him because of his poor free throw shooting. Thats something that can make his team very inefficient in crunch time. I think a team trading for Giannis should do so with a short window in mind. And they have to have someone else they are comfortable with with the ball in their hands in crunch time. I think thats the idea with Dame, but the rest of that core is crumbling. I had to take a pause from this reply to look up and see if Khris Middleton is even in the league anymore lol

Yeah I’m shocked Mavs did them like that even as a Mavs fan. Mavs getting PJ and Gafford really changed things for them and Lively came a long.
