Not the greatest of managers in my opinion. No creativity, strategy, live and die by the long ball. Defense is this team's weakness. And the 2 second basemen did the team in this game.

Can’t blame manager fully if two games were lost because of the players.

Game 1, if the ball was caught clean after the Ohtani double, he wouldn’t have gone to third and there won’t be any sacrafice fly that tied the game.

Then in the extra innings, if the 2nd baseman fielded the ball clean and got at least one out, the Ohtani foul ball out would have ended the game.

We all know about Game 5.
